Noisy, crowded, and overpriced
If you're dreaming of a peaceful or even a bearable weekend at the beach, this is not your scene. Do NOT believe this property is anywhere close to luxurious. It is loud and packed with a crazy number of people per room. The complex compounds the crowd size by issuing "day passes" to people unwilling to spend $350/night to stay there. The walls are unbelievably thin. If someone coughs or runs the water, you can hear them as if they're in your room. In my case, the neighbors on both sides were crazy loud. They must have had four to five people per small efficiency room. A puppy was left along absolutely wailing for hours. The music and partying went on all night. The management increased the noise by inexplicably cranking up music for everyone in the entire complex to hear whether they wanted to hear it or not. One night it was Journey (yes), and another night was a live singer who made the horn sounds for "Walk the Line" out of the side of his mouth. The check-in process just dumb: You supposedly did "contact-free" check in in advance online, but when you got there you still had to stand in line behind several families and their four to six kids before you could get your paper wristband and your keys. While the room itself wasn't bad, it came with the bare minimum necessary for a weekend stay. Each invividual got ONE very skimmy cheap towel, which meant when water got on the floor from the shower, you had to either use your towel or let the water set. The linens on the bed also were cheap and uncomfortable. For the amount charged, these condos should do better.
