Perfect spot for fishing the White River/Small cabin sleeps 2-4/1 Bdrm with loft

One bedroom A-frame cabin with a master bedroom downstairs and a large loft with two twin beds and plenty of room for extra kids or a blow up bed between. Ladder up to loft. Full kitchen and lots of windows overlooking the White River. Just above "The Narrows" where people love to wade and fly fish. Can also wade and fish just off the bank below the cabin, but bring your waders because the water is COLD. This is the part of the river frequented by fishing guides due to the excellent fishing. Very tranquil and comfortable cabin. A true place to relax and escape!

We had a great stay in this quaint little cabin. We had a welcome gift of fresh chicken eggs that made for some tasty breakfasts, great touch. So glad we made the choice to stay here rather than a hotel. Communication was open and clear. Watching the fish jump out of the water, the hawks and eagle flying over the River was awesome to see. 💕

The floor windows on both sides of fireplace was the best feature. Sitting on couch reading and looking out those infinity pool like windows was the best medicine for any ailment!! The fresh eggs left for me by the chickens next door was a pleasant surprise that went excellent over my birthday steak breakfast!Never was one to go to same place twice but if im around long enough definitely booking another stay!

The Perfect Getaway

What a great stay and just what my wife and I needed. We spent most of our trip watching the river flow by from the deck while catching the occasional bald eagle. The house was clean and functional while the owners were amazing! They answered every question we had and surprised us with a special treat.

Serenity on the White River

Our stay was great. Unfortunately the mattress is so broken down I was unable to sleep in the bed. Had to sleep on the couch. Stayed here 2 years ago same problem, same mattress. Otherwise everything else was good.

Excellent Place To Stay

This was the perfect placeto stay. Quite, peaceful, beautiful and right on the river. I loved that you could sit on the couch and see the river. Very clean, convenient and had everything you could need. Will definetly be staying there again when in the area.

Great get away

Quiet and perfect location to chill out. This is the second time I have reserved this cabin and its always clean. Fishing was a little harder this time because they were releasing more water from dam.

Relaxing visit to the river

Very nice and clean cabin. We had everything we needed. The view from the deck is simply perfect. We watched the river all week and saw lots of wildlife. Perfect location to unwind for a week. Very close to a public access area for fishing.

Relaxing cabin on the water

We love spending a weekend getaway here at the cabin. Always nice and clean, well stocked in what we need. We enjoy building a fire and watching the boats and wildlife. Very quite and peaceful. Cant wait till our next visit this spring

We had the most peaceful stay at this cabin. The views of the river were amazing and the river was easy to access for wading. The cabin was clean, the best was comfortable. I cant say enough as to how great this cabin is. It was the perfect place for us to stay. We will definitely be back.

Trout fishing-this is the place to stay!

We loved seeing the River right outside the windows. Although it was very cold, we still enjoyed our time. Very quiet place. I wished we could have enjoyed the fire pit outside. Next time we re staying in the springtime so we can enjoy everything they have available!

Tranquility along the White River

Never heard quiet like this. Only nature sounds. Bald eagles, great blue herons, owls, singing crickets. The unit was well equipped, clean and modern. Hire a guide for great fishing and you won’t be disappointed!

Everything you need

The cabin is wonderful – great location, easy to get to, plenty of parking and it has everything you need. Just bring some food and you are all set. There are a lot of extras such as a fire pit with plenty of wood, a hammock and fresh eggs from the neighbor’s free range chickens. And the river is flowing by right there for you. Beautiful, clean water ready for you to catch your fish in. Definitely stay here if in the area.

Extended weekend get away

Nice little get away. Met the owner, she was super nice. Left us some eggs from her chickens, yum. Had our 2 year old granddaughter with us and we all met the two baby ducks they had just purchased, totally adorable. Very quiet and peaceful. Was only 2 draw backs, very light shade in bedroom, so morning light wakes you up, and the keurig took several attempts to get a full cup of coffee.

Stick around for the sunset!

My Husband and I decided to go on a little getaway to do some trout fishing. Our fishing guide picked us up here at the house on the river. After fishing, we decided to start a campfire and take our guides advice to cook our catches directly on the fire wrapped in some foil. While cooking we were delighted a natural surprise and saw one the most beautiful sunsets Ive ever seen! As for the cabin, it was absolutely perfect for us! Everything was clean, quaint and just overall a beautiful place. We loved the fireplace too. Thanks again for allowing us to stay in your cabin!
