Couple's Retreat, Beautiful Boathouse on the Water.

Welcome to Serendipity! A couple's retreat. Whether you and your partner just want to relax for a weekend or stay a week, this boathouse has it all. It's just 50 mins away from St. John's, 20 minutes away from Dildo or the Irish Loop. Nestled in the most sought after cottage areas on the Avalon Peninsula, Ocean Pond- you can bring your quad, bikes, kayaks, paddle boards or snowmobile and go on an adventure on the trail way which is only minutes away. There's tons of places to hike and snowshoe too. The boathouse contains all kinds of entertainment: pool table, hockey game, karaoke, board games. At the front of the boathouse there are Adirondack chairs and a fire pit if you just want to unwind with a glass of wine and watch the fire or the water or you can sit at the fire table on the patio. In the morning you can chose from a coffee or an espresso and enjoy watching the water form the patio. If you do have to attend to work for a few minutes there is also a desk to attend to work matters. If you just want to relax and need some play time Serendipity is the place for you.

Amazing Sunrise, wonderful stay.

I travel quiet a bit for both work and pleasure, and I have to say our stay at the cabin was one of my most memorable. The hosts went above and beyond to cater to all of our request, and check in/out was a breeze. The view of the sunrise in the morning from the deck is stunning, perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee! I will certainly return again in the future!

Between all the options of activities (pool, card/board games, many movies to pick from, etc.) We loved every minute of this peaceful area! The deck had a lovely view over the pond for a peaceful morning sit with your coffee. We can’t wait to book again in the future!

Great spot for a Getaway!

Sweet property with very friendly and helpful hosts! Rod and Brenda treated us like family! The boathouse has a beautiful view of the lake. The inside is very well decorated and has all the amenities and fun stuff from pool table, to hockey game, karaoke machine, big screen tv and more. Outdoor activities were also available like kayaking and a paddle boat. There was also a bbq and fire pit. We had a great time!

Where do we start. This boathouse has everything you would ever need or what. The water view was breath taking. Brenda decorated the place so nice. Just beautiful.Rod and Brenda who own the boathouse were so friendly and helpful. You don't want to miss this place to stay. Beautiful, quiet hideaway

We saw the pictures and description online and immediately knew this is where we wanted to spend a few days. I contacted the hosts and they were nothing but friendly and helpful from the beginning. They provided excellent directions and were quick to respond to any questions we had. The location is ideal - not far from the city, far enough off the highway you can't hear traffic with a great view. The house is clean and is equipped with everything you might need (even a bottle of wine upon arrival) - just bring some food and you are all set. There are kayaks available to you which are great for such a calm pond. If it happens to rain there is plenty to do inside - pool table, karaoke, TV with a DVD player, popcorn machine etc. Whether rain or shine you'll have something to do and won't get bored. If you need a few quiet days away from town we would highly recommend this property!

Amazing

Me and my boyfriend went to stay at this cabin for the weekend over all experience was Amazing! It was such a beautiful place to stay, lots of things to do and if you just want to relax you can, you will never get board, the owners were the sweetest and it was really easy to get a hold to them, they gave us great directions to the cabin. There was even a bottle of wine and a note from the owners welcoming us to there cabin when we got there! I would highly recommend staying here!!!! We will definitely be back to this cabin!!

Weekend Getaway

I had such an amazing stay at this boathouse! The location is absolutely beautiful and there are so many things to do. I was able to go kayaking, have a fire, sing karaoke, play pool, enjoy the peaceful water on the deck, enjoy a warm bath, and so much more. The bed is so comfy, I had the best nights of sleep. The boathouse was very clean and decorated beautifully. This is a wonderful place to go to recharge, relax, and have fun. The owners are extremely kind, were very helpful, easy to contact, and available any time of the day. I highly highly recommend going here :)
