Cozy, Romantic, Riverfront Cottage

This year round cozy modern cottage with all the amenities is for couples seeking a honeymoon or a renewal of their love. A getaway for Mother/Daughter or Father/Son. Or if you want some time by yourself. It is riverfront with fantastic views and sounds of the river. In a no flood zone with no risk of flooding. Quaint cottage with a view and modern comforts

My wife and I enjoyed a weekend getaway here in the winter. It was quiet and cozy; exactly what we were looking for. The cottage was very modern and very clean. Peter and Michele were great hosts.

What a Great Getaway Cottage

From the moment we arrived we were impressed with the condition of the property and the cottage. We enjoyed a soft king size bed, jacuzzi tub, fire stove, awesome kitchen, nice tv area and then outside we loved the screened in sitting area, bbq, had a campfire and listened to the creek - we loved it!!

Beautiful cottage

Very relaxing setting and very cozy. Easy to get to. All amenities you can think of are there. Very clean. Was there in winter- very peaceful and lots of deer and blue jays to see. Very enjoyable stay.

Amazing getaway!

Wonderful Weekend

We had a fantastic time here! Everything you could want is right there. The sound of the river while sitting outside or by the fire. Gazebo for when the bugs got a little bad at dusk. Everything was very clean and our hosts were wonderful to deal with, always prompt and helpful. Would come again without a doubt!

Quiet, peaceful, scenic

Very beautiful, new cabin. Looks like rustic but modern. Was somewhat quiet except for the traffic on the highway. Wasn’t much to do around, but that’s also a good thing. My wife and I wanted a quiet get away to spend quality time together, and that’s what we got. We can’t wait to book again.

Honeymoon

Overall a wonderful place yo inwind and bond with my spouse! Ticks getting inside the cottage from the front patio were they had nested was a problem but nothing a little bug spray couldnt fix! Overall a big thanks to the owners for the beautiful anf serene cottage to kicking of our marriage to a great start!:)

Perfect (Close) Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this cabin. Peter and Michelle did an excellent job of making us feel welcome. We really appreciated the details and little touches of this cabin that made the atmosphere perfect for celebrating our anniversary. We appreciated the thoughtful note and chocolates to wish us a happy anniversary. Everything was so easy to use and instructions made things seamless. The property is clean, well taken care of and perfectly thought out. We look forward to another visit in the future. I can only imagine how great summer at this cabin would be! Honeymoon stay

My husband and I enjoyed our honeymoon at Peter and Michelle’s cabin. We almost thought we would miss out on our stay when we got covid, but Peter and Michelle let us move our dates so we could still enjoy our honeymoon. It is a lovely modern cabin with all the amenities you need. We enjoyed playing games down by the river and having a bonfire while the sunset. The cabin is situated on their property with a privacy fence in between their house and the cabin. It is also about 200m from hwy 59. Peter and Michelle gave us privacy and it if we didn’t know better we would have thought they weren’t at home. We truly enjoyed our time together at their cabin.

Home away from home.

The cottage was stunning the design was very modern with a rustic feel. The stove wood fire place offered a warm cozy atmosphere... it was very romantic. The cottage had all the amenities needed and if we were not sure we had a very wonderful welcome booklet to guide us. My husband really appreciated the craftsmanship - from the stunning cabinets to the heated floors. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the privacy that came with the country lifestyle. Michele and Peter were great hosts and only a phone call away! Their cottage is truly a getaway where you can relax and rejuvenate yourself. My husband a I will definitely be returning!

As close to perfection as it gets.

This is the second stay for my wife and I at this property. We’re from good ol’ U.S. of A, and our standards tend to be incredibly high. The owners of this property never, ever cease to amaze us with their attention to detail for their property. If you want my review, simply read the review I left (sans geese) in June 2022. Nothing has changed, which is a very good thing. And make no mistake, if you stay here:RESPECT THEIR PROPERTY andLEAVE THIS PROPERTY CLEANER THAN YOU FOUND IT!!!
