This is a wonderful place to visit. Spectacularly beautiful even without the wildlife but the opportunity to see wallabies, wombats, and pademelons, among others, makes it uniquely rewarding.

Clean and spacious room. Understandably expensive as there’s not many lodging options in the mountains. We cannot understand the need to limit wifi usage to 3GB though which can get quite frustrating when he limit is breached.

My room was super clean and surrounded by wildlife. I also booked a treatment at the Waldheim spa as well as two times the private sanctuary (at it was just stunning). Amazing! It has become my favourite place on earth! If you like adventure I highly recommend the Cradle Mountain Canyoning experience. Had so much fun! Highly recommend the area for anyone who loves nature!

Peppers Lodge Tavern & Bar has much better food for dinner than at Cradle Mountain Hotel - just down the road about 2 minutes drive.
