"Got to the hotel....the Indian guy said I have a handicap room? Do I want to switch? I said sure he said he upgraded to a king... I'm like great. Got to the room it smelled a dead body.. the fan was blasting so I know they know the room stinks. It was a dirty wet, old carpet. Anyway I felt sorry for the hotel. It must have been amazing at one point. The view of the capital is breathtaking. Everything else sucked. "

"This is a motel for Section 8. People were hanging out as if they lived there. In parking lot, in lobby, in hallways, smoking outside the front doors, and I dont mean cigarettes. Unsavory sctivities in parking lot. The room itself was clean. I saw no issues. I booked this hotel due to walking distance to the local concert venue. This is not a good enough reason to book this hotel."

"My daughter and I stayed at Residence Inn while attending the Cardi B concert (4/3/2026) The room (a loft) was more like a small, cute apartment! We loved it! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The best part, the breakfast! They had an awesome selection of breakfast foods, fresh fruit and beverages. If I’m ever in Hartford again, I would 100% stay here again. "

"Had an awful room on the top floor that only had one window that was maybe 2’ x 2’ big. It’s not like the hotel was sold out so I’m not sure why they put me in what was a glorified closet. I was exhausted and just didn’t have the energy to complain."

"Breakfast was excellent. Mo who was working his second day and Christine took great care of us. We are big coffee drinkers and we never had to ask for refills. They anticipated everything. Gretchen at the front desk is an exceptional welcoming person to your establishment. She went above and beyond to make everything comfortable for us. We had a challenging morning and from the time we walked in to check in, Gretchen had us relaxed and ready to start our weekend away. "

"Host correspondence was a bit slow, but all my questions were answered. The apartment itself was nice and decently clean. Bed was very comfortable but the couch was a bit stiff. Lots of closet space. I only stayed one night so there's not too much I can say but overall I would recommend it "

"Overall suite was cozy, everything was brand new! The communication with owner was not good, reached out and got no answers about where to place garbage, and where exercise room was although he did answer first day about tv even though what he suggested didn’t work to fix it. The water in shower was luke warm at best both mornings. More towels are needed as well as better communication on the building and the amenities of the building such as location of pool, exercise room etc! "
