"Ideal for a large family gathering with the indoor pool the obvious highlight. However the property was very tired with a lot of problems which continued throughout the stay. The standard of cleaning was awful. I spoke to the hosts wife to highlight the dog poo on the lawn in at least 3 places, the fact I wasn’t given an exit code to get out of the gates, the electric socket hanging off the wall in the lounge with wires exposed. There were far too many problems to keep ringing about so I listed them all to the host but have had no reply. Other issues, empty beer bans and bottles in the garden, pizza oven outside like a large ashtray, BBQ not cleaned for ages with congealed meat hanging off the grill and filthy tongs left. A foul smelling drain in the garden that had been covered with a piece of garden furniture. Inside 2 bedroom radiators not working one which was leaking. The washing machine leaked water everywhere, Upstairs shower not working and bath plug stuck in, no soap anywhere, no information as to how to work oven and microwave, or how to work the pool water feature or the hot tub and projector. All in all very disappointing for the high cost of rental "

"Was overall excellent, just little points , couple tiny holes in net curtain on window, shower head wouldn't angle downwards , but was great strong shower over bath not walk in , bit of an older style , toilet roll not best quality bit rough , but soap and gel amazing smell, bed was comfy, single beds moved about a bit on wheels. Pool was good, good length, warm , jacuzzi could have been a little hotter but was nice . Changing rooms had everything, hairdryers , tongs and spin dryer for costumes .Only no private changing cubicles , I used the toilet. Breakfast really good, hash browns were especially nice . Staff were really friendly and helpful, lovely quality hotel, and staff add to that quality. We would recommend and plan another visit . Great grounds too , park like ."

"The entire property is well maintained. By the time you walk in, you feel the cozy and relaxing atmosphere. I loved the place. Both breakfast and dinner were tasty with many options."

"This is the third time we have stayed in this lovely little cottage as we wait for a house sale to go through. It’s cosy and well equipped, in a beautiful country location. Celia has looked after us well. The area has some interesting little towns to visit and great transport links to go further. Manchester, Liverpool, North wales, Peak District and Yorkshire dales all within reach."

"Perfect house for a large family get together at Christmas. Cosy all weekend, the hot tub was a real treat and the children loved saying hello to the donkeys! Thank you for a lovely weekend and for being such accommodating hosts."
