"4 night stay April 2026 (Sunday to Thursday) - accommodation very clean, comfortable and modern, hosts very welcoming - location peaceful (a few sheep and horses over the fence at the bottom of the garden, but no noise) and nice dark skies (I saw a few Lyrid meteors during my stay!). Great kitchen facilities (so you can easily self-cater if you want) and excellent shower, better accommodation than a hotel if visiting the area IMHO. "What a fabulous place! Communication before arrival was great, providing everything we needed for a self check in. We were early so were foreced to sample a pint in the bar which was great - really good atmosphere in there. Once in th e accomodation, we didn't leave or speak to another human!
