"The Chateau and the property's grounds are beautiful. The location and views were gorgeous and relaxing. One challenge was our laye arrival. We received a message through the Expedia platform about how to enter the establishment after 10 pm. Unfortunately, we were driving and didn't see the alert email come in. Expedia has our cellphone in our account, but they opted not to message us as I didn't have that setup as a default notification tool. Nonetheless, Expedia should do better because it is clear from our itinerary that we have been traveling across Switzerland over the course of week. That is where Expedia falls short. They don't take care of valued customers that spends thousands of dollars with them.and more. As for hotel, the pool is open from April through the end of October depending on weather. The hotel can get taxi service but it does not have 24 hr service. So the listing has some inaccuracies. The staff believe the listing mentions about late check-ins and the procedure, but if that is the case, it is difficult to fine. Expedia needs to do better on the listing information. "The hotel is far from the city center, and perhaps in a little bit more challenging area as there were security gates that protected the property. The rooms were small with little space for luggage, etc., but the property was very quaint with it separate sitting areas and game room. The breakfast was probably one of the better ones we had on our whole trip…. More variety and options for beverages, pastries, and savory dishes. This property is a good value for the price!"

"Not easy to get in as the code given by hotels .com for reservation does not work on their system and you need to call and wait for a minimum of 30 minutes until someone answers and finds your reservation. Very tiny rooms. The breakfast was fine. Super basic."

"Perfect location right on the lake front in Nantua. We were there during lovely weather but the views from the hotel were fantastic and pedal boats and padel boards could be hired within five minutes walk from the front doors. The hotel was quite basic and we weren’t overly impressed with the breakfast but it was immaculately clean and had its own car park."
