    Step into this cozy yet spacious condo, now featuring all-new flooring, plush carpeting, new beds, and a comfortable new sofa. (Please note: the futons previously pictured in the living room have been replaced.) Enjoy breathtaking views from every room, enhanced by thoughtful updates throughout the space.

    The open-concept living and dining area centers around a striking stone fireplace, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The remodeled walk-through kitchen and bar blend rustic charm with modern elegance—perfect for both casual meals and entertaining.

    Each bedroom is designed for comfort, featuring private en-suite baths and generous wardrobe space. Two sliding glass doors open to a large patio with spectacular west-facing views of Washington Gulch and the town of Mt. Crested Butte.

    Paradise-102 is ideally located near guest laundry facilities, a relaxing sauna, and a seasonal hot tub—adding extra convenience to your mountain getaway.

    NOTE: Hot Tub is indoor and only open during ski season! BBQ grills are snowed in during winter. Ski-in/ski-out access typically begins around late December, depending on snowfall. We also have a free shuttle that can drop you at the base in ski season!

    There are three flights of stairs to access P-102.

    There are two parking spaces available for guests.

    Please note: There is no AC in this condo. There is no elevator on the premises. The balcony/deck area is a shared space.

    Please NOTE: Our condo complex is located in the high country of the Rocky Mountains. During winter, weather can change abruptly and road conditions can and will get treacherous. Please winterize your vehicle. Often, AWD or 4WD alone is not enough!! To get to our location, we strongly recommend one of the following: snow tires or chains for your tires.

    Dog Friendly
    Guests are required to inform the office/host and pay a non-refundable pet fee if they plan to bring a dog.
    Dogs must be at least one year of age to stay. Two dog max per condo.
    Please use the provided dog sheets for the furniture! Guests are responsible for any and all property damage/extra cleaning.

    Your condo is near the West Wall lift. A short walk, skis on, and you are on the slopes!

    Complex amenities are sure to complete your experience. An on-site office and staff make it easy to check-in/out and answer any questions that arise during your stay. We have our own private shuttle service that is free with your stay. The shuttle runs daily during the ski season from 8:00 a.m. until midnight. During peak summer, the shuttle runs 4:00 p.m. - midnight, Fridays and Saturdays. They’ll even pick up and drop off right outside your condo! During the winter, you can enjoy a soak in the indoor hot tub, located on the first floor of each building. Sign up for private 30-minute soaks. The sauna is open year round. For added convenience, every building has 2 coin-operated washers and dryers for guest use. Everything you need for a comfortable stay!

Great Stay!

We had a great time at this property. Everything was as described. Plenty of amenities. The condo was well stocked with everything we needed. I will caution that the ski in/out location is more for an intermediate skier.

Convenient Place!

The place was clean and so convenient to get to the base ski area. We had a great time. The only problem was the unit above us P202 loved having all the little kids walking around in the unit with their ski boots on. It was quite noisy.

The property is older,but work for a stay. I just highly recommend box fans or something..it gets very stale in there without the windows ope. We didnt open the windows a lot because of the fore smoke

Weekend Get Away

This was our fourth time staying at San Moritz, and first time at this unit. Location is idle for skiing and this unit allows dogs which is why we chose this unit. The unit was as described in the listing, but a little dated. Overall a good stay with our family and dog.

It was very clean, had great kitchen utensils, very accessible to get to Crested Butte, and easy to follow instructions. The one down side is the noise being on the bottom floor. The group above us was a family who had no idea about the noise issues, and the people next to us got home at 2am that we heard a few times. Overall great experience, would highly recommend Crested Butte to visit.

Super great condo!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The condo has amazing views, is super spacious and has all of the amenities you need. The on-call shuttle is certainly a huge plus! We would definitely stay here again :-) I think the only disclaimer I'd call out is the condo is on the 1st floor of the building. So if you have any issues with climbing stairs, this may be a problem. Our group was fine but I definitely would pack a little on the lighter side + use backpacks / bags and not rolling suitcases.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good location with a great view. But the extremely noisy refrigerator is on its last legs, and runs almost incessantly. You can barely hear yourself think in the kitchen, you can hear it through bedroom walls, and it utterly spoils your ability to listen to music. Shower faucets require so much effort to pull out that I am surprised someone hasn’t pulled one out of the wall. Would not advise you to rent it unless mgt confirms a new refrigerator has been installed.

Family reunion

Air conditioning unit is not large enough for the house. The temperature climbed to nearly 80 every afternoon and early evening. No ice maker. There were 3 Sharc passes missing on arrival and the property manager suggested I pay and they would reimburse later…..For four nights we paid nearly 10K. You would think they would make everything right. Also, the double fees paid to VRBO and ARRIVED I guess if the future of VRBO buying up homes to rent.

Needs some attention

Would not stay at this condo again. It is past its prime in every way - linens/towels/mattresses need to be replaced, they are in bad shape (worn, lots of holes, etc). Lighting in unit is terrible - only central light is in the kitchen, everywhere else runs on lamps and there are not enough of them. Feels very dingy. Art, etc on wall have all been hanging for 20 years based on dates and feels like an aged grandma's house, time for a refresh. Can't use stove/oven without setting off fire alarm as there is no ventilation. Building itself is very dated - indoor hot tub is disgusting. Other bummer was property manager communication is slow. They didn't send check-in information ahead of time so we were scrambling in below zero temperatures with young children at 10 PM once we arrived figuring out how to get in. Location to skiing was handy. For this price point you can find a much nicer place nearby or in town.

Great location, good unit, bad stairs

We had 3 adults and a small dog and the unit was very nice, with room for more. It looked just like in the photos and everything was clean and good working order. All the beds were comfortable couches looked new. They even put out sheets for the dog so he could join us on the couch. The only minor, in unit, complaint is the lack of Tupperware. The location is great. Once you are in the parking lot it is a short walk to the slopes. This is a true ski in ski out. The run back is a black, but an easy black, bumps at the top since it wasn’t groomed while we were there. Now for the stairs. As the description says there are three flights of stairs from the parking down to the unit. One flight before you enter the building and two inside the building. The lack of snow removal by the top of the outdoor stairs made it a slippery adventure just getting to the stairs. As for the interior stairs, neither of the flights of stairs has a handrail on the open side of the stairs. As an architect I have no idea how they are allowed to not have a railing.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Maybe it was just bad luck, but we (family of 3) rented this unit expecting a quiet, relaxing place to stay while enjoying a ski weekend in CB. It was anything but. The neighbors directly upstairs crammed 8 or more people into their unit, and had a party that went on all night the first night we were there. There had to be at least 20 people in attendance - loud voices that got louder as people got drunk... bumps, people coming and going, music, chairs scooting across the floor, beer bottles and cigar butts being thrown over the ledge, you get the idea. We got about 3 hours of sleep and had to keep our skiing to a minimum the next day as a result. We complained to management and asked for another room. They said they were booked fully and could not move us but said they would have a "stern talk" with the neighbors. The next night was quieter, and we were able to finally get some sleep but the following night, though not 20+ people, was loud again with the same activities listed above. We asked the office worker to request to management that we receive compensation for the first night due to the extreme inconvenience and irritation. We received no compensation or feedback on that request and basically were left on our own to deal with the neighbors. The management of San Moritz would be wise to post a quiet hours policy and enforce it, like other professionally managed ski resort properties do. I could not find a policy anywhere in the literature about allowing fellow guests the right to quiet enjoyment of the premises. It is the right and reasonable thing to do when guests are paying a considerable amount to stay here. We did not expect to be living in a college dorm-like environment at this price point. We were very disappointed. Though the unit was clean, comfortable and nice, and the location was great, I don't think we will take our chances on this place again next year.

We had another great stay in CB! Christine was very helpful and responsive again this year and we loved our 2nd annual stay at San Moritz. We’ll be booking again soon for next year.

Great Location, Stairs Are No Joke

This property is in a pretty great location for skiing. A short walk in the morning to get to the slopes so I wouldn't call it ski out, but you can ski almost right to the stairs for this condo at the end of the day so it is for sure ski in. Speaking of the stairs, do not be fooled like I and others (in the reviews) were thinking this is a base level condo with no stairs. It's 3 flights of stairs below the parking lot so you you have to carry everything you brought with you up and down 3 flights of stairs. A complaint I have was the lack of snow/ice removal. The parking lot, where you have to walk to the slopes in ski boots, was a sheet of ice for our entire stay and there were no storms before or during our stay. No salt or sand. Also, the shared patio outside the condo was only shoveled maybe 1/3-1/2 of the width which made it difficult to walk our dogs without taking them up 3 flights of stairs to the icy parking lot every time. Overall a great location for skiing and no complaints inside it was clean and well equip (though we did not have any trash bags upon arrival, but the staff had them delivered the next day). We probably wouldn't stay here again due to the stairs and poor snow/ice removal, but still 4 stars for location and the unit itself.

Stay in Crested Butte (San Moritz)

It was a great place to get away. We got 3 feet of snow in 2 days so the road to get up to the condo was quite dangerous coming downhill but there was a shuttle we could have opted to take. All in all, a great place to be at Mt. Crested Butte.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great Fall stay. Condo was very nice. It is an older condo but it was in very good condition. P102 is on the bottom floor and parking is on the back side and on the 3rd floor. So you have to carry your stuff down and up. It looks like a great place for intermediate skiers and up. You are right above the west lift. Skiing back looks ok for an advanced skier, but if not it’s just a short walk up the hill. You have a great north west view of CB Village. The deck looks great for Summer and probably not much sun in the winter. Have a great stay.

Great stay

We enjoyed staying in this property; the space is great and near some fun trails. Note that the property is actually two levels below and it can be challenging if you are not used to the elevation.

Ideal location

Wonderful condo right on the ski hill with gorgeous mountain views from the comfortable living room. Well-equipped kitchen and prompt office communication. Beautiful setting!

View

The View was incredible! The condo and complex was quiet and relaxing. Being right on the mountain to take our dog for a walk, hike, and enjoy the wildflowers all around us was everything and more.
