In winter enjoy easy access to the Gunnison National Forest via county maintained Cement Creek Road for snowshoeing, groomed cross country skiing, fat-biking, snowmobiling, road hiking or out your front door an HOA maintained and lighted hockey rink, skating pond and nordic track.

In summer, it’s trails, trails and more trails for single track moto/non-motorized riding, hiking, wildflower/wildlife viewing are all just a 15-min walk or 5-min drive. East River access offering incredible catch-and-release fishing is a 10-min walk from the front door. Red Mountain Park is right across the street with a playground and open grass for disc, fetch or a picnic with all-time views.

Free all-day bus service to the towns of Crested Butte and Mt. Crested Butte, Crested Butte Mountain Resort and Gunnison is right across the street, making car-free vacations a reality. The Town of Crested Butte is a 10-min drive away. Or, CB South's Zuni Street Brewing, Camp 4 Coffee, Tully’s Grill or the Wooden Spoon and Country Store are a short-stroll away, with local favorites for food and drink. Stop by Red Mountain Liquor on your way back if needing additional refreshments.
