We needed an early check in and the desk clerk was so friendly and accommodating! Every time we entered the lobby we were met by a friendly Hello! and asked how they could help. Bedding and bed were so comfortable, room was clean, cool and quiet so we could get the sleep we so desperately needed.

Very clean, other than that, don't stay. Very noisy as there weren't gaskets to block light and sound from hallway. Cheap shade on window allowing too much light and sound. Cheap toiletries. Staff stalked us like we were criminals, and we were only passing thru. They should know the difference between locals and actual travelers. Unexplained charges showed up on debit card they wouldn't remove. We had paid for room in advance thru hotels.com. Night clerk was barely mobile and didn't have answers for any questions. Daytime staff stalked us, met us getting on and off elevator, and coming in and out of our room. Bizarre. We pass this way frequently, friends in Panama City, and we'll never stay again. We actually tip staff as well, so the a.m. staff got nothing. Made sure cleaning staff had generous tip as the room was very clean.

Decided to do a road trip rather than fly. Thought we would stop in Pensacola, but no hotels available and had to drive another hour and ended up here. Check-in took a long time, and the clerk told us they were the only hotel that had any rooms left within an hour drive of Pensacola. The hotel had been recently renovated and looked nice from the outside and in the lobby, but there was a chemical odor the moment you walked in the doors. That odor continued into the room. I think it was due to the carpet which had several colors, including black, which I observed on my feet after a trip to the bathroom! When I woke, the room was filled with light. A huge spotlight shone in the windows as we were below the hotel sign. There was only a thin see thru curtain. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean but when went down for breakfast at 9 am, we were told there was no more food left!!! We ran out the door!

The hotel was nice and clean and breakfast was good The problem that I have is that we checked in and our air conditioner in our room wasn't working properly. I called the front desk and the clerk stated that she had to call her manager. I waited about fifteen minutes and still haven't gotten a call back. I was already exhausted from traveling and just wanted to shower and decompress. I called back to the front desk and was told that the manager states that they would try to figure out the air conditioners malfunction, but no one showed up to address the situation. I asked could I be moved to another room and was told no that they couldn't move us. I proceeded to go downstairs to then be told that they didn't have any other rooms cleaned so they couldn't move me. I waited for another thirty minutes from them to walk around to see if rooms were available. Then all of a sudden after I stated that I demand a refund in cash since I paid with a credit card with a hold on my credit card for the total amount due plus incidentals the clerk amazingly had rooms that were available. The clerk and I went to one room and the key didn't work so she had to call her manager back to figure out the problem. Now an hour after checking in has passed by and they finally found a room that was available. People were steadily coming to check in only to find out that once they checked in their room assigned was occupied by another guest. I would never stay here again.
