Rented this place with another family for New Years. It was a perfect get away. Room enough for 2 families. Loved being right on the lake. Would definitely come back again.
The house is an updated property but wasn’t cleaned in months. I would guess it had been weeks since the floor was washed and the fans baseboards under furniture and walls had inches of dust build up. The vent hood hadn’t been cleaned in over a year, wouldn’t turn it on as I was afraid it would go on the food. The grill also was disgusting, when we brought it up to the property manager she said she would let the owner know and we never heard anything back. It’s unfortunate when you spend that much money for four nights we were unable to even get a reply from the owner.
We had a great time during our stay up in Crivitz. The lakeside property with the fireplace and gazebo was exactly the up north feel were looking for. The only downside was the internet didn't work for the entire stay. It wasn't worst case scenario, but most of the group had limited or no service during our time here.
Just returned from an amazing trip to Wisconsin, the highlight of which was a four night stay at this amazing lakefront property. The outdoor spaces were fantastic - the deck, patio, fire pit, gazebo, dock and raft were just perfect for our 3-generation family visit. Some read. Some swam. Some used the paddleboard. Played basketball. Played games. Made s'mores and pudgy pies. It was truly perfect. The indoor spaces were comfy and well appointed. We hope to be back!
First time renting from Vrbo and this lake house far exceeded expectations! Our entire family of 16 ranging from ages 4-65 enjoyed their stay and had plenty of room inside or out. The lake house is beautifully remodeled, decorated and well taken care of. Host was quick to respond when question arose too! The first bedroom sleeps the most with a triple decker twin bunk bed and full bunk bed with full trundle underneath - this room had small amount of toys and books. I would bring board games with next time if there was rain in the forecast. The 2nd and 3rd bedroom had plenty of closet space and hampers/baskets if needed which made you feel at home. Each room has a tv too. Having the mud room with washer and dryer was so convenient! They even have a cute closet with a bench and doggie supplies(nice touch!) if you did sign up to bring them. There is only 1 bathroom but decent sized and everything worked as it should - even had shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The kitchen where we do a lot of cooking as a family was perfect! There were plenty of pots, pans, mixing bowls and dishes. I forgot to bring my electric griddle but they had a large rectangle griddle pan that worked slick on nice gas stove. The water from the kitchen was decent - sometimes can be iffy when going up north. The kitchen table did not fit us all at once but there is seating at kitchen counter, outside gazebo(which was not on original photos-nice addition) and on porch. Those that needed a break from outside could relax in living room and watch direct tv. Had no issues with wifi internet even with multiple kids on iPads and adults on phones. Now the best part and main reason we choose this rental was it being located on a lake! Crooked Lake is a smaller lake and was very quite during our 4 day weekday stay. A few pontoons cruised slowly by and saw couple boats fishing and tubing which did not effect our time in the water. Swimming in lake and playing with water toys that were at the property was the kids #1 favorite part of vacation! I brought multiple floaties and did not need. The raft, large floating mat, inner tubes and paddle board kept kids occupied for hours while the adults were able to relax on a blanket on the grass or chair on the patio with a clear view of the kids. The guys enjoyed grilling and playing cornhole during day. Nighttime consisted of bonfire which was nicely placed near patio, they had skewers for s’mores and even had wood bundles on-site to purchase!
We had a wonderful time. The cabin is comfortable and has everything you could need. The outside patio area is nice and where we spent a lot of time. We couldn’t locate fishing polls but enjoyed our stay!
