"Our one-week stay was perfect plus exactly what we expected and needed! We both really needed to escape the chaos of the big city and have some peace and quiet after a very difficult year. We wanted to celebrate our 42nd wedding anniversary and also my wife's breast cancer victory at a secluded and private cabin. This was our very first VRBO experience and we were pleasantly surprised at how relaxing and beautiful this location truly was. The cabin was perfect, very cozy, and close by to everything that we needed. Thanks to the owners for an amazing experience and sharing your wonderful cabin with us!"

"We loved our Labor Day Weekend at Brook Street Retreat. It’s a quiet and private neighborhood steps away from a brewery and near a coffee shop, ice cream shop and restaurants. There’s good space to spread out and amazing views of the lake. The games were a big plus for our family getaway."

"We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was great, peaceful, and a wonderful place for a little getaway. We had a great time and really enjoyed the area. A couple things I’d want future guests to know: the beds weren’t very comfortable for us, and during our stay the shoreline was quite weedy, so it wasn’t a good spot for swimming. Neither took away from us having a great trip, but I always appreciate reviews that mention those kinds of details when I’m booking, so I wanted to share. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay so much!"

"Everything was great! The only thing that we have complaints about was the foot traffic from the unit above when we were asleep, but it wasn't super late and they had little kids. They weren't partying or anything. You can just hear everything above."

"What a beautiful property! Enough room to spread out inside and out. Very well equipped kitchen, comfortable seating and spacious bedrooms. Enough outdoor toys to keep us and the teenagers occupied.Bring your own pillows if you can, typical VRBO pillows(bad). Very close to town, groceries, restaurants, attractions, etc."

"Great location! It was close to the heart of activities in Crosslake which was very convenient. It had everything that we needed for a great weekend get away. The indoor pool was a great perk for the kids when it was raining and/or to chilly to go in the lake. The condo had plenty of space to feel comfortable for the weekend and having a place to dock the boat for easy access was great! Will come back again in the future!"
