"The hotel was cute and in a good location. Rooms are small. It was an easy walk to the brewery for dinner, and there was a decent coffee shop within walking distance. When we first arrived (around 5pm), we saw there was a nice communal area that was stocked with some goodies. Bagels, fruit, string cheese, coffee creamer (refrigerated), a coffee maker with pods for coffee, ect. In the morning, when we went to leave, all the bagels were gone, the coffee creamer was empty and no additional condiments for the coffee. No sugar or dry creamer. There were no spoons for the yogurts they provided. It was disappointing to look forward to the area for the morning and then find that it was actually missing so much. We could see people cleaning rooms so I am wondering why they wouldn't stock all of this first thing in the morning. And the room wasn't cheap so that little area was a nice surprise but ended up being a disappointment."

"We arrived late, so the office was closed, but it was still easy to find our cabin and navigate the property. We opened our window and fell asleep to the sounds from the creek behind our cabin. In the morning, we watched the ducks in the pond while we drank our coffee on the deck. The bathrooms and washrooms were spacious and clean. I wish we could have stayed longer. We stayed in the Cottonwood Valley cabin, which is the last cabin on the path around the pond. The path around the pond is not a full loop, so you have to walk all the way around. The path is not long, and we left most of our things in our car, but this could be a helpful detail for others renting this cabin."

"Eric was very prompt and honest with all communication. This stay was an excellent starting point for an Alaskan adventure if you want to quickly put Anchorage behind you and start exploring the area, including nearby Whittier and Girdwood. Open, well kept, good sleep, nice shower."

"The place was great and located in a safe neighborhood. The view from the back porch, which stretches the full length of the house was absolutely beautiful. Overlooking the water and surrounding mountains, it was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a sunny day. The scenery added so much to our stay and made the outdoor space especially enjoyable. The inside of the house was decorated with the owner’s personal style, which gave it a lot of character. The host was friendly, responsive, and accommodating throughout our stay. The only area that could be improved is communication about the checkout time. Providing clear checkout instructions in advance would help guests plan their departure and the rest of their day more easily. Overall, we had a very positive experience and would recommend staying here."
