"We loved the location, central to everything. Most of all the front desk staff and managers., They were so attentive & kind. We had some things we need to get for our son, they made it happen. Above and beyond. We’ve stayed at many hotel across our travels. This was one of the best guest care we received. Bravo. Amazing team. Thank you for a Wonderful stay. Room was very clean. The roof top patio area was lovely. Fantastic breakfast. Look forward to return next summer. 10/10 property. We thank you❤️"

"The good: Very comfortable bed and very clean bathtub. Convenient location to walk to the Citadel or the waterfront. Conveniently attached to the Tempo restaurant and Boston Pizza. Not so good: the place badly needs maintenance and a facelift. In our room the curtain valance was detached in one place, wallpaper was torn in several places, and the A/C ceiling vent dripped water."

"An excellent hotel located below The Citadel, with a superior attached restaurant Gio. Food was imaginative, as were the drinks, and the staff excellent. Our king room was well appointed, with plenty of room and two armchairs. We enjoyed the ala carte breakfast, happy hour, and dinner at Gio. The housekeeping staff were top notch too. Location is walkable to the waterfront, and a somewhat longer but pleasant walk to the terrific Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21. Parking in the basement of the hotel is fine for a smaller car. We had a Jetta and it was a little tight. Could be a somewhat challenging for a larger SUV, but the hotel also offers valet parking. Definitely a great stay, and one we would repeat on our next visit to this lovely city."

"We found Nalu Retreat to be a true gem! The Dome was just like it appears in the photos. Everything was clean, clean, clean and tastefully done. As a former boutique hotel manager & chef I was impressed with the attention to detail. Comfortable leather sofa, extra throws, nature sounds, plenty of plugs, kitchen supplies, Robes, Turkish towels, goodies in the kitchenette, too many to mention. We were enthralled with the setting and enjoyed our time in the hot tub and the privacy surrounding us. We didn’t have the opportunity to use the fire pit but appreciated it being there of hope to get a chance next visit. We would love to go back and stay longer. The staff is responsive and friendly. Three things that might make for an even better stay. (1). The retreat sends you a video that you must watch to receive the WIFI instructions. I did not see that email until we were on Myra Road approaching the driveway and just then we lost cell service. (2.) You may lose cell service approaching the retreat. That made for a stressful hour or so…driving back in the opposite direction to find wifi/cell service to continue watching the video…then retrace our drive to find the dome. Maybe it could be sent to guests earlier? (3). The bed itself was not so great, a high end mattress would make a longer stay much more enjoyable and would fit well with all the other top notch amenities this lovely place has to offer. Book it! You will love it!"

"The room was beautifully decorated with a beach and ocean theme, and the fine details were clearly considered including a very well equipped kitchenette, soft robes and so much more. The view of the beach and ocean from the room and its location literally right out your door was the experience we were looking for; and the hike to the peak overlooking the ocean was a great perk. Jane is a wonderful, friendly, attentive host, and gave us all the privacy we like. The exterior of the property building needs some TLC and updating, and the indoor hottub was not in a setting we would choose personally. Otherwise it was a really beautiful experience!"

"An absolutely stunning property with a gorgeous view and direct access to Conrad’s Beach! It comfortably held our group of eight, and the kitchen was very well equipped. The host was very responsive when I texted with questions. The pool, tennis courts and deer on the property made for a fun and enjoyable time. We were able to enjoy the view from the sunroom on the rainy days. Just a note the water is not potable, but they do provide some drinkable water for guests."
