About this property

Cosy vacation rental with enclosed garden - close to beaches & GR34 - free dogs

  • Enjoy an unforgettable and relaxing stay at this vacation rental on the edge of the forest on the Crozon Peninsula. This vacation rental is located not far from some of Brittany’s most beautiful sandy beaches, framed by majestic cliffs, as well as the legendary GR34 hiking trail.
Your dog is a welcome guest here and stays for free. In the securely fenced-in garden, your dog can roam freely to its heart’s content.
You’ll rarely have enjoyed such an infinitely relaxing vacation in such an idyllic and peaceful setting as you can in this apartment. The vacation rental was lovingly renovated in 2023 in one of the most beautiful spots on earth—the Crozon Peninsula. It is idyllically situated in a rural and peaceful setting, bordering directly on woods and hiking trails, and offers a magnificent view of the rolling hills of the nature-protected peninsula. It is surrounded on three sides by several stunning white-sand beaches, framed by impressive rocky cliffs, all just a few minutes’ drive away. With its 36 m² plus a mezzanine, the apartment is ideal for 2 people. It features an open-concept living room with a TV and a sleeper sofa (150x195), a mezzanine with a double bed (180x200), a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with a bathtub. There is also an entryway with a washing machine. Maximum occupancy: 4 people. In the south-facing, fully fenced, approximately 800-square-meter front yard (shared use), lounge chairs, patio furniture, and a grill are available free of charge. We also provide bodyboards free of charge for your water fun. In addition to beach and swimming fun, the area offers numerous water sports opportunities—Plage La Palue, in particular, is a world-renowned surfing hotspot—and the famous GR 34 Customs Officers’ Trail, a coastal hiking trail that winds along the entire Breton coast and will have you snapping photos until your fingers ache.

The two charming little harbor towns of Morgat and Camaret-sur-Mer are straight out of a picture book, with their colorful houses exuding typical French charm along the harbor promenade, the cozy restaurants whose aromas invite you to linger, all set to the constant sound of the waves and the clatter of the sail booms.

The locals are known for their laid-back attitude, helpfulness, and friendliness. The hustle and bustle and snobbery of big cities are just as unknown here as theft. You can leave your bags unattended on the beach while swimming or surfing without incident. The Crozon Peninsula is largely a nature reserve and is unique in its idyllic setting and diverse landscape. Since large hotel complexes are not permitted and the number of campgrounds is limited, this paradise is spared from mass tourism. The hinterland, with its Monts d’Arrée mountain range, is a worthwhile destination for day trips, as is the Ozeanum in Brest, which can also be reached by ferry from the peninsula. The ancient fortifications of the walled town of Concarneau (also the setting for the book and TV character Inspector Dupin) and the picturesque artists’ town of Pont-Aven, home to many great painters, are a good hour’s drive away. You’ll find imposing menhirs in many places. Fishing is allowed without a permit ;-). Horseback riding is also available. You can take surfing lessons right here. Boats (including motorboats that don’t require a license) can be rented, opening the door to exciting adventures. There are many caves that are accessible only at low tide and only by boat.
The main house on the same property is usually occupied by me, Jana. So you’ll have a German resident on-site who can provide plenty of helpful tips and assist you with advice and practical support. Two friendly dogs live with me in the main house, though they do not roam freely in the front yard. To ensure harmony among the dogs, however, I can only invite friendly and well-socialized guest dogs. Dogs stay for free. The peninsula is an absolute dog paradise! —even during peak season, which is practically unheard of these days.
Discounts available for long-term rentals during the off-season. Please inquire.
