"Superb hotel right opposite the marina in Cagliari. Great location, a few minutes walk from the main restaurant area, and easy access to the city centre, either on foot or by bus. We had a room overlooking the marina and main road, the double glazing was super-effective and cut out all the traffic noise. The air conditioning was excellent too. The whole hotel is spotlessly clean, with attractive modern decor. The staff at reception were welcoming, and couldn’t have been more helpful, absolutely brilliant! Breakfast was in keeping with the size of the hotel, a selection of cold meats, cheese, breads, and pastries. There was also the option of hot scrambled eggs with either smoked salmon or bacon, served to order, which we really appreciated, along with fresh coffee. The hotel is on the third floor, you reach reception via a lift at the side of the building. A great little hotel, where the guests are welcomed and nothing is too much trouble, well done Hotel Aristeo!"

"Renato the host was very helpful and the location of the apartment is perfect. Walking distance to the train from elmas/cagliari airport and all the lively restaurants and sites. Apartment had everything we could need. Shower ran out of warm water one time but Renato warned me about that and otherwise was good and had great water pressure! Renting a car is a must for Sardinia and there’s a parking garage walking distance as well. Was an easy breezy trip and happy we picked this place to stay at! Great for couples especially but walls might be a bit thin so can’t be too loud. Would stay here again!"

Can be noise at night as expected for a city hotel. Use earplugs if you are a light sleeper. There are a few steps from street level to reception. Hotel has lift."
