The Historic Bullock Hotel

"This is a really cool old hotel in the heart of Deadwood. When you enter you are immediately hammered with the typical casino setup that seems to adorn most things in Deadwood. However, once past that the hotel itself is beautiful and clearly has a lot of history. Our room was fantastic. Large and had a great view of Main St. Unfortunately we were only here for a single night. We would certainly like to re-visit and spend several nights here in the near future though."

"Beautiful old hotel, very clean, room was slightly small but very functional with built ins , 12' ceilings and a large renovated bathroom. The only downside is free parking for the hotel is 3 blocks away. During the day, the parking attendant provides rides to and from the hotel but at night or early morning no transportation is available. On street parking in front of the hotel is available for checking in or out. Other than that I would highly recommend this hotel."

"The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Only downside to the room was the exhaust fan wasn't working so that made the room extremely humid. Many comforts like coffee, dining and casino was all right there and the historic downtown Deadwood was just a few blocks walk away."

"The room was clean, and the beds slept well. The breakfast was okay, just wish there was something hot! But the caramel cinnamon rolls were great! They were supposed to issue coupons for pizza, but were out for the three nights we were there. Could have just gave us a written order for them. Shower was wonderful! Couldn’t use hot tub, as it wasn’t up to temp."

"The room was cleaned ok. Not fantastic. Seamed like the Tru was understaffed. Most of the time there was no one at front desk. Location is great. Breakfast was ok. Most of our stay one of the two pancake machines was not working. Over all a good stay."

"Had a great time staying at Galena during our time out west. Cabins were clean, owner communicates well, and cabins were in a great spot to access everything in the area with a short drive to get there. The owners greeted us while sitting outside the first morning we were there, and gave us great recommendations for places to visit while we were there."
