I booked a room and 5 days prior to arrival got very sick. I tried to change my reservation and the hotel refused, took my money, and I didn't use the room. Now I'm healthy again, and going to Cuero, TX, but I'll be using a different hotel.

Yes I will stay here again.

Weather was bad. Lots of mud carried into the hotel by oilfield workers. Surgical bootees should be provided for them at the front door as is done at other hotels.

Too much light coming in

Only complaint is the curtains don't close and too much light comes into the room and makes it difficult to sleep.

Checking was easy. There was no tv remote in room so husband called desk & one was brought up. Tv kept going out so he called again & someone came up to check on it & maintenance guys phone was blowing up so we found out Internet was out in area. Bathroom floor was dirty & tub had a chip in floor. Husband pulled out ottoman and pile of dirt. On the positive room curtains kept room dark for our sleep ins, bed comfortable & a/c cold.

Upon checking in the hotel we paid for our stay. As we were leaving the next morning, we were asked to bring in our debit card a second time. When we asked why we were told she just needed to type in the information to ensure the booking goes through and we were told we were not going to be charged again. After checking my statement we were charged. It should not have been a second charge after we check out of a hotel. We are on a small trip with our 3 Children and don’t have a lot of money . Now we are out of $100 that we needed to finish our trip . I expect something to be done for this inconvenience as today is a holiday and I cannot retrieve my funds . So I am forced to figure out another way home . Please call me as soon as the offices open.

Shower attachment would not stay in place resulting in the shower attachment falling multiple times and spraying water all over the bathroom. First room we were given was not clean, beds not made, went back to front desk and was given a different type of room than what we booked. Rust spots in tub looked like blood at first glance. Towels were hung on the rail by the toilet. No towels should be anywhere a toilet that doesn't have a lid. Went to breakfast at 8, burnt eggs, gravy was old and congealed, only 2 yogurts in the cooler and an open bottle of milk along with old looking, yellowed hard-boiled eggs. Pancake machine was not set up. NO ATTENDANT the entire time we were there for breakfast eating the little food that was left. Coffee empty when we went for a second cup. Very disappointing and unacceptable.

Big disappointment

We stayed at this hotel because our boys had a baseball tournament weekend in Cuero, TX. So the team all stayed here. I had booked 2 rooms for our family weeks before, like as soon as we knew we were signed up. Upon checking in we find out one room is upstairs the second is downstairs not together not even on the same floor. That was the first disappointment. Our view was a wooden fence, second and more disappointments. Phone’s & tv didn’t even work in the room. We had to go to the Lobby to watch our pay-per-view boxing match that many men who were drinking and didn’t even know got to view for free. We noticed a bad smell so we had to ask the clerk to remove the trash because it stunk where we were sitting. Breakfast wasn’t what it used to be. It lacked of closed pastries, it was unsanitary. Coffee was cold. No waffles or pancakes. It was sad. I only grabbed a piece of fruit to go. We bought breakfast elsewhere. Parking lot was full of vultures pecking in the trash bin and sitting on a couple of cars that looked like they had been in an accident and had been parked there for sometime. The only positive thing was the bed was comfortable.

Breakfast n cats

The bed was very comfortable. However, the breakfast was very disappointing. I raved about the food to the friends that also booked rooms and the pancake maker was not working, the biscuits were almost burnt, no bacon, and the gravy was dried up on the sides of pan. Also, as we pulled in the parking lot to ck in we counted 6 cats. When we returned at night we counted 12 cats roaming around.

When I arrived to check in, no one was at the desk. Then when they looked up my reservation it had been canceled. The clerk was able to find my family a room. When we got up to our room the key card didn’t work and the clerk determined it was a battery issue and was going to fix it. As they’re fixing it we find that the room is already occupied!

Worth the stay.

The room we stayed in was a great clean room. We had no issues and staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. They actually had a small buffet! The beds were ok, just not as soft as i like. But i would definitely stay again.
