"Inn by the Sea is an older hotel presently going through renovations. Although I was allowed to check in early, the room that I was assigned was not as expected. I had stayed at this property before and at that time, was given an oceanfront room on the backside of the hotel. This time, I was given a room on the street side, which only had a partial view and was loud on a Saturday night. The woman who checked me in on Thursday 3/26 at 2 pm was also very passive aggressive. All the other front desk staff was superb, especially the gentleman at checkout 3/29 at 7am. As mentioned, they are going through renovations-I heard loud hammering on weekdays, but nothing on the weekend. The room and hotel in general is very clean, with water stations on every level and in room refrigerators. Bathrooms are super small. Room size is pretty standard. The hotel boasts a really cute little pool with lots of lounges and chairs for relaxing. The location also really can't be beat as it is a short walk to coffee, lovely restaurants, and the cove."

"Breakfast was satisfactory. Wonderful accommodating staff. Large. room. I couldn’t see the pool. We did not like the payment method for using the guests washing machine. You had to sign up for an app , then load cash onto to the and hope it would operate and still have money on the app after using the machines. But They were a excellent pair of washer and dryer. "

"Location - can’t miss. 10/5 stars. The property (in my opinion) is a bit rundown for the price you’re paying. Granted, I get it, location location location. But please upgrade your rooms! A/C barely worked, if it did at all, and rooms were great for the 1990s. The staff did their best at times and the walkability was unbeatable. I just suffer paying that price for that kind of property. "

"We have high standards, so here goes: Location: amazing. Staff: very friendly. Comfort: not good. Room was not cleaned by 5pm which seemed very unprofessional considering we left the room at 7am. Pillows were not pillows, they felt like ripped up pieces of cotton put in a bag. Very uncomfortable sleep. Amenities; The rooftop restaurant drinks were superb, special mention to Sahar the bartender. Food was great when it arrived hot, which it didn’t most of the time. This place has great potential…they just need to work out the kinks. "

"They CANCELLED my rental WHILE TRAVELING although repeated correspondence with the Redwood Hollow Cottages associates that I was a mother traveling with her two young children needing and addressing safety and accessibility concerns. Accessibility was denied the first night due to the aforementioned and the time of night accessing an associate because our flight arrived late; hence, we were stranded the first night having to make spontaneous alternative accommodations while keeping my young childrens’ spirits up in an unfamiliar town. The replacement property lacked satisfaction fulfilling my top two concerns and caused my incredibly cherished vacation with my children to be completely jeopardized. I’m safely home now, yet you ruined memories and life that cannot be replaced; I hope you and your associates are proud of yourselves for the,“…work” you do…,”.
