"Room was very clean and tidy, nice view, staff was really friendly, lovely staff on arrival, breakfast and the evening meal was lovely"

"This is a great hotel option. Rooms very clean with two double beds - hard to beat for the price. Ev charging is excellent. £10 for a minimum of 6 hours allowing a full charge on my car. When compared to the price of local public charging (£30-£40) this is a fantastic additional benefit. Only slight negative is that the hotel only allows guests to all check from 3pm even if rooms are ready. This meant we had to hang around for 45 minutes to check in at which point a crowd of guests were also queuing to check in. Please review the approach for check-in as there has to be a better way!!"

"This hotel is absolutely amazing. The architecture is stunning and decor is beautiful. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The rooms are spacious with really comfortable beds. We had a wonderful stay and cannot wait to come back. The Receptionist that greeted us and checked us in was wonderful - I wish I had taken his name. He was so helpful with advice about the area and was friendly and welcoming. An amazing member of staff. To be fair all the staff were really good! A wonderful stay."

"Room was a good size and was nice and clean (as was the rest of the hotel). The facilities were OK, but the whole hotel feels very tired and dated and not really what I’d expect from a 5 star. The food was fairly standard, no better than the food I’ve had in other 3 and 4 star hotels. Pool looks great in the photos but was extremely busy on our stay. Communication in advance of our visit wasn’t great - I emailed twice to ask a so eventually had to call instead. Parking charges for guests are steep. Not a terrible stay, but not somewhere I’d rush to go back to"

"It’s convenient location. That’s about it. Over priced for the ok stay beds and bedding not the best lumpy pillows thin duvets bathroom just looks old and not clean looking. Extra £5 for parking and breakfast is cold. The pub that is in walking distance the kings arms is bang on for food and good prices"
