"The amenities package ($35.00/day) provides amenities that ae seldom used by vacationing guests. The Front Desk provides "complementary water bottles, upon request, and constantly offered by the staff. It also includes local and long distance phone usage (don't most guests use their own cell phones?), a fee cocktail from 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., High Speed Wi-Fi (with no in room instructions on to connect), "complimentary" rental of Darcy Hotel bicycles, in-room coffee and tea, and 24 access to a fitness center. Guests are charged $35.00 per day for the Amenities Package. There should be a key card access recording if most of the items included are used. The audacity of charging for 'Complimentary" items is ludicrous on it's face! Hotel practices of charging for Spa or Resort fees that include complimentary or seldom used items needs to stop."

"Room was not very clean. Bathroom need proper cleaning of tiles and grout. Carpet dirty and surfaces in room sticky in some spots. Plus side…Staff was nice and offer recommendations for restaurants. "

"We had a leak in the bathroom. The entire room was flooded. The staff did help us get a new room. "

"Annette and Yorum in Tobert’s restaurant are superb. They go above and beyond to make one feel welcome. It is my DC home ! The Easter brunch was fantastic!"

"I have stayed here many times and usually have an excellent experience. However, this time it was not so great. The plumbing needs some work. Our toilet did not work and I assume because we didn’t get to the hotel until almost 11 PM but we didn’t staff wasn’t working. Therefore someone did not show up to the room until 12:30 AM. Housekeeping, or somebody should check to make sure the toilets are flushing when they review the room. Apparently that did not happen. I also saw some hairs on the lampshade in the bedroom. I had a suite. The bathroom was really small in the suite. I would likely not due a suite again. We were awoken at 7 AM on Saturday either due to construction or just loud noise. We faced the alley, which was not a nice view at all. You would think they would give me some sort of preference or about around after how many nights I’ve stayed there this year.! "

"Staff was the worst, rudest people I’ve ever encountered. Dried up contacts on bathroom floor. No housekeeping one day and apparently getting a water replaced in the mini bar, that I have to pay for, is a completely unreasonable request. I was told I could go the 7-11. Wow. Also had some random person knock on our door because the key security in the elevator wasn’t working and came home one night to police tape being taken down because of a murder suspect. "
