The photos shown on this post are definitely not a true depiction of the current state of the house. We arrived and immediately smelled a musky/moldy (like an old house that has not been aired out in weeks) smell. They were chipping paint and cracks throughout the house, the carpeted areas had dirty carpets, some of the closets did not have hangers, the fridge was dirty and needed a good cleaning before we could put food in there, the dishes, pots and utensils needed a good clean before we could use them as well, and finally they were stains and tears on some of the furniture. One of the balconies was broken and was not safe to go out to, the playground for the children had some wood chipping that cause some of our children to get splinters, the outdoor area was not cleaned (leaves everywhere) before we arrive and the outdoor dining was not usable at all with dirty chairs and dead leaves everywhere. To sum it up, the house was underwhelming upon arrival.We paid to heat up the pool, but it was not heated upon our arrival as we were told. This meant that we could not use the pool or spa until the second day of our five-day trip. The host did address the issue the best they could and resolved it the next day, which is the only reason I gave this review another star (three instead of two stars). Overall, our stay was decent, and we made some good memories, but for the price we paid, the state of the house was not what we were expected and felt that the pictures were deceiving.
