Tiny house at Gold Farm

Gold Farm has a tiny house next to the main house, with a private entrance, for the traveler who wants to stay in the countryside and have the benefit of being in the town, with a 7-minute drive to unique shops, restaurants, malls, bars, live music, and other attractions. Our house is situated on almost one acre of land in the heart of the beautiful Town of Fairview, the upscale part of McKinney.

Great location, perfect for 2 people

The location was ideal to quickly get to all the things. But, the property feels like you’re in the country. My son and I stayed here and it was perfect. The owner greeted us shortly upon arriving and they were great at communicating. Highly recommend. We visit friends in the area at least once a year. We plan to stay here again on our next visit.

Wouldn’t stay here for anything.

I didn’t get to stay or rebook due to emergencies with COVID and my premature niece being born. Maria was not kind with refunding even after 1 day of booking and when I responded, due to technical issues, the response didn’t go through and she just went ahead and kept the booking after letting her know I couldn’t come. I won’t be using VRBO ever again or using a woman who takes money without any issue.

Peaceful overnight getaway

We enjoyed a quiet night away from home - just right for a special getaway as a treat for my 12yo and me. The check-in process was easy, everything was quiet and clean. Definitely recommend for 1-2 guests!

This tiny house was a perfect base for a weekend of exploring the DFW area. The place was homey and very clean. There AC worked well for a middle of the summer stay. The location felt like it was well in the country, but everything we needed was within a short drive. Highly recommend!
