Quiet high-end cottage surrounded by mature trees and picturesque pastures on a completely private farm. Yet, you are minutes from grocery stores and shopping and walking distance to a Tex-Mex restaurant.
Beautifully furnished private stone home with a large cook’s kitchen, laundry room, comfortable living room with two couches, dining space, dedicated work space, separate well-appointed bedroom with gorgeous outside views from your bed, full bath with brand-new fixtures including a large walk-in shower. The cottage has loads of natural light from the many large wood windows where bobcat, coyote, bunnies, peacocks, and farm animals often wander by.
You have access to an acre of outdoor dining and relaxing areas.
Included with you stay are complementary fresh eggs and honey both produced on the farm.

Quiet little cottage

This was a wonderful, peaceful place to rest and recharge. The owner was helpful and also gave lots of privacy. I’ll definitely be returning here for my next retreat!

This was a wonderful cottage. The cottage was extremely clean and welcoming. We enjoyed relaxing outside on the back porch watching all the fun and playful animals. It was centrally located to all our activities. We went to a Rangers game and it was easy to navigate from the cottage. I would highly recommend!

Spectacular Gem

Unless you see it for yourself, one cannot describe what a bucolic property this is! The hosts are superb, the property is immaculate and thoughtfully decorated. We can’t wait to return!

Loved this place as it felt like we escaped the hustle and bustle of the city to the farm life even though we were still very close to everything we needed (and the airport). Highly recommend!

Cozy Cottage

Lovely cottage, extremely clean, decor is somewhat rustic (like Ralph Lauren). I highly recommend. Back patio was perfect for coffee in the morning and to view the farm animals. Owner was available for any questions.

Best stay in all of Dallas!!

It's in the perfect location - close to food shopping and entertainment but you feel off the grid. It's so clean and comfortable too. I've never felt so comfortable at a rental in all my travels. Owners were so gracious and responsive. I'll 100% stay here again!

One night getaway

The experience at this cottage was amazing. Plenty of beautiful nature, goats, horses, bunnies, and a very well taken care of yard. The house itself was very cozy and well tooled care of, the interior got even more beautiful the more u looked at it.

I enjoy peace and quiet and this was exactly as I had hoped. Right off a main thoroughfare, yet secluded was perfection. Very clean, orderly, with all the amenities. I hope to be back!

Perfect getaway

Such a serene, cute cottage in the middle of the city. Super close to everything you need yet feels like you are in the country. Great amenities, had all utensils needed to prepare a meal. Nice outdoor area to relax and enjoy the scenery. Will definitely book again!

Relaxing Oasis

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Bob White Cottage. Sitting out on the back porch watching all of the precious animals was so relaxing. The farm fresh eggs and honey were delicious. Plus, the location was very convenient to all of the places that we visited while we were there.

Charming Cottage

This is such a sweet place for a small group. It’s very quiet and peaceful, with a lot of outdoor space. I rented the unit for my parents, and they LOVED it! The owners are wonderful. They’ve thought of everything to make your stay perfect, including fresh eggs and honey!

Wonderful stay for a family with young children

We loved our stay at this property as our children really enjoyed the space to play, see the animals such as the sheep dogs, horses, goats and chickens. They loved exploring around the property in the wooded area. It is very close and convenient to restaurants, grocery stores and coffee spots. Relaxing stay with all the amenities we needed at the house - would definitely recommend to anyone that is looking for this type of a vibe that we experienced.

Haven in the middle of the city!

Honestly the best place I have stayed at. This place is a beautiful ranch/cabin style home with an abundance of greenery and natural. If you are wanting a getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city this home is perfect! The hosts are the sweetest people with a genuine heart for animals. If you are looking for a place to quiet your mind this is the place for you!

Amazing cottage!

Rented this super cute, clean little cottage for the weekend. Came down for a concert, an easy drive to AT&T stadium-about 35 minutes. So close to everything, but you feel like you are out in the country! Fresh eggs provided were such a treat! I can’t wait for another reason for my daughter and I to plan a trip to the Dallas area so that we can stay here again!!

An Oasis

You never expected to find such a gem as you are driving in a very suburban and populated area. As you approach the property it turns into an unpaved road and open land and fenced in animals appear. The cottage has been restored to where modern meets rustic. The back porch gives you a relaxing view of the grazing gosts. In the field next to the cottage I got to pet a horse. The nice touches were the farm fresh eggs and coffee and water in the fridge. I highly recommend this place for your next stay in the metro area.

Beautiful area and just right

This cottage is in a quiet and beautiful area. Very unique location- you wouldn't guess you are in the middle of a city, very secluded and yet everything so close around you. There is a bedroom with a queen bed. We were 4, and the the couch does not have a pull out bed. There is a smaller futon that fits one, so we had one of us sleep on the couch. It can sleep 4 if someone sleeps on the couch. It worked for us and we were happy with the location. Vacuuming the area rug in the living room would be helpful, there were what appeared to be dog hairs on it. Husband is allergic to cats but he was fine, so assuming they were dog hairs. Overall, it was a beautiful cottage and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend. My kids also loved all the bunnies that came out at night!!

Bob White Cottage

We stayed at John and Tamera’s place with my daughter and son in law and had the best experience imaginable. The newly remodeled cottage is located just 10 minutes from the lake, and we mountain biked there because it was so close. There is plenty of space between the three houses on the property that isn’t mentioned in the listing, so you get to sit and watch the sunset in total serenity. The place also comes with fresh eggs and honey, to make the ultimate HONEY-BACON B.L.T. We loved the small details like free drinks in the fridge on arrival and a hand-written welcome note. The WiFi is strong and the tv comes complete with Netflix ect. The single bedroom has a Queen size bed with ultra clean linens. The newly remodeled bathroom is very clean and has plenty of privacy. We especially loved the back porch for our morning cup of tea. The cottage is located on a private drive, but it’s possible to walk to the center of town with shops and restaurants in less than 15 minutes. You will not regret your stay at this one of a kind VRBO. The only downside was leaving.
