"Stayed in a classic room which is basic and little dated but perfectly adequate for the price (no air conditioning) Breakfast is typical buffet style, the cooked food was hot enough and tasted fine. We had drinks from the bar which were good and the lounge area was relaxing. Overall it’s a good clean hotel and all staff are friendly and helpful if needed. There is plenty of parking on site and the hotels location to the town centre is ideal, within walking distance and not too far to the beach to also walk to. We normally stay at this hotel when we visit Bournemouth for a short break."

"The staff were wonderful and very helpful. We had 2 breakfasts which had a lot of variety and the food was good. We ate dinner one night, the pot pie was excellent and my husband’s ham and eggs were very good. As far as the room, we booked a superior room located on the second floor. We had to move all of our big luggage via the stairs as there’s no elevators. The staff asked if we needed help and we declined it. The room had carpet with some major stains. There were no mirrors on the walls for me to finish my hair or make up. There is a lack of shelving in the bathroom to sit out toiletries, but we managed for a 2 night stay. With a few minor enhancements, I would have rated this hotel higher"
