"Although the location and overall property is nice, the place is outdated and could use some cleanup. Room was spacious but lacked any sort of personalization. One framed print in the entire place made it feel empty and blah. Hot tub was lukewarm and jets weren’t working. Very “loud” - could hear my neighbor snoring. "

"There is major construction at this hotel. I was advised the only way to avoid some of the noise was to pay for an upgraded room on the other side of the hotel. Once there it was where they parked the construction equipment and once that started was far from quiet!"

"Loved the location and amenities! It had everything we needed. Beach was beautiful- I could watch the surfers all day long! You have a shuttle that takes you to the beach if you don’t want to walk 2 minutes :) and you can request them to set up the chairs and umbrellas, get boogie boards. I find it a very nice add-on. Staff was beyond attentive!! Food at restaurants was very good! You almost don’t need to leave, but you do have a gorgeous area around so it’s nice to venture off to San Clemente or Laguna Beach. We live in Venice beach only a little over 1 hour away and this felt like a nice vacation!!"

"We are just leaving the property after a 10 day stay and I cannot say enough good things about this place, the area, the people. The view is even better than pictured when you see it with your own eyes. The gas fireplace is wonderful for chilly nights. All the amenities - washer/dryer, fireplace, outdoor patio furniture, coolers etc were set up well and easily accessible. We could walk to dinner and shopping down near Dana Point main strip. The host was wonderful. We will be back "
