The room was clean and nice. There's no staff and we had trouble with the code to enter the building. However when we called the hotel the women we talked to was very friendly and helpful. Our stay was 👍.

Renovated old building turned into very modern history filled hotel. Fun old horse equipment and assorted antiques add character to otherwise minimalist decor. My only suggestion is there was no chair or desk in my room. Had work and meetings to attend while here.

I love staying at the Weinhard and greatly appreciate the preservation of this small slice of history. Beautifully appointed with antiques and lovingly restored, the hotel celebrates the history of its founder and his place in the community with photographs and narratives. I love the little extras, like delicious chocolates and ever available coffee and tea. We stay whenever going through the area and greatly enjoy the friendly service and warm, inviting atmosphere.

The property was beautiful. We loved the room but wish there had been a small table with chairs to enjoy a glass of wine with one another and play a card game at the end of the day since the bar does close relatively early compared to when we normally go to bed. There is quite a bit of open space in the room for that to be accommodated comfortably. We greatly appreciated the thoughtfulness of a phone charger and a tiny fridge to hold our leftoovers from dinner. Padraic was delightful to visit with over our evening cocktail. We wil be back for sure.

Hotel is clean, but very sparse. There is no on site staff. Room didn’t have any cups, or coffee, or soap at the bathroom sink, only in the shower. Beds were nice and comfortable, but that and some night stands were the only furnishings. When I got to the hotel I couldn’t get in and had to call to figure out how to get in. Was supposed to get an email with checkin instructions but never did. I was supposed to be able to pay at the hotel when I booked but they charged my card right away, which made sense once I got there and realized that wouldn’t have been possible, but it shouldn’t be offered as an option when checking out on Expedia.

Loved the property, building and rooms. The contactless check in was flawless. I would recommend that if you have guests the coffee shop be open on Sunday and the bar be open longer than 5-9. Wonderful place that we will be back regardless of my suggestions

Dayton is a cute town and the hotel is a gem! We had a chance to meet the owner who is as personable and hospitable as he could be. Rooms were spacious with antique windows and high ceilings. We had a great stay and will return here if staying in Dayton.

Stylish, serene and simply amazing! Dayton is a hidden away gem in the middle of the Palouse. There is no way you’d expect a renovated design classic like the Hardware in this small, rural but impeccably well kept, town The handcrafted cocktail bar, The Bobcat, is icing on the cake. We will be back. We are searching for a reason to pass by this way again simply for the Hotel Hardware Totally Epic! (In a very stylish understated way)

Hidden Gem in Southwest Washington

I loved the character and design. The mix of old and new was really cool. I only wish there had been more amenities. The sheet said there was coffee in the lobby but the room where it was supposed to be was locked our entire stay.

The Weinhard Hotel was a beautiful place to stay. We loved the small town feel and the uniqueness of the hotel. Chris was so attentive and super friendly and we felt immediately like it was home. It was an awesome time traveler stay.

Nicely renovated older property with old time charm. We stayed while visiting family for Thanksgiving and the lobby was beautifully decorated in Victorian style for the holidays. Nice extra touchs like chocolates on arrival and a nice bottle of local Cabernet on departure. Would definitely stay here again.

What a great find! I came to visit my brother who lives locally, and this place was perfect and charming, and Christina could not have been more friendly or accommodating. She is a gem, and so is her hotel! Will definitely stay again on my next visit out.

Probably one of the best hotel stays we have ever had. It was our anniversary and they went above and beyond to fulfill our requests..the hotel staff is great. Loved this sweet boutique style hotel. The owner works her butt off & does such an amazing job. The breakfast provided was top notch(above & beyond any normal continental breakfast). The room was gorgeous & well kept. Our favorite part was the roof top deck. We played corn hole & really enjoyed the space.

A beautiful hotel in Dayton, Washington

Christina (one of the owners) was an exceptional hosts. She was very professional, helpful, kind, and friendly. The hotel is a very fine B&B. A city park and museum behind the hotel. An excellent rooftop deck for enjoying the morning, midday, and evening. Even a Saturday night trivia game.
