"I rarely leave reviews, but this hotel was genuinely one of the most unpleasant stays I’ve experienced. The room was absolutely not cleaned to an acceptable standard. There were hairs all over the bathroom on arrival, dirty skirting boards coated in dust, and even lost property from previous guests shoved under the beds. The entire room felt tired, neglected, and in desperate need of a proper deep clean. What made it worse was discovering multiple empty toiletries left around the bathroom with congealed product still inside them. After repeatedly complaining, staff eventually admitted these had been left behind from previous owners of the hotel — which says everything about the level of housekeeping and attention to detail here. The drains smelt strongly of sewage throughout our stay, and the smell spread into the room itself, making it genuinely unpleasant to spend time in. We raised this issue multiple times and nothing meaningful was done to resolve it. Service overall was appalling. Most staff seemed completely uninterested in addressing concerns or taking any responsibility. The only exception was one member of staff who apologised and gave us a bottle of prosecco, which was appreciated, but ultimately did little to make up for the overall experience. For the price charged, the standards were completely unacceptable. Dirty, poorly maintained, and badly managed. I would not stay here again and would strongly advise others to look elsewhere."

"This has probably been the worst hotel we have stayed in my entire life (and i travel a fair bit). It started with us booking a 25 sq my room and they put us in. 17 sq mt room and essentially said too bad. Second: for all five days and consistently, they got our rooms mixed up and last names mixed up with other Indian guests - sent me wrong bills, checked me out of the room on the wrong date and it was just a terrible experience, sent me a notice to clear the bill when i had already paid. Said they waived off my breakfast as an apology when i didn’t have breakfast even a single day, these guys were just plain racist and highly inefficient. They even sent my friend to a wrong room with someone else’s luggage breaching their privacy. Worst hospitality. Stay at the NH collection. "

"Excellent buffet breakfast. Good variety and quantity. Restaurant serves excellent meals in amazing Art Deco room. My room had enormous original stained glass window. Bathroom modern and again very nice decor. Location absolutely perfect. Walked everywhere. Couldn’t be more central. Staff delightfully friendly and helpful. Loved everything about it. Will be back in October."

"Everything about this hotel is wonderful. This was our second stay and it did not disappoint. Breakfast is excellent, the common areas and rooms are beautiful as well as quiet, and staff is so helpful - including helping us recover a laptop accidentally left on the airplane we arrived in Amsterdam on - above and beyond the call of duty. We will stay here every time we are in Amsterdam to visit family. Thank you for a perfect stay. "
