"This house is beautiful and immaculate and the owner had thought of everything for all ages from high chairs and travel cots to a shower seat in the walk-in shower. The location was ideal to so many places. The owner is lovely and was quick to resolve any issues. Unfortunately the house itself seems to be the only part of the property that has been renovated and what will be a lovely fairy garden, replete with waterfalls, was marred by construction rubbish. "We stayed for a short trip to Wexford to do some business that coincided with our anniversary. The hotel kindly put a fridge in our room that I needed for some medication, and in the message via the Hotels.com portal I mentioned that we were looking forward to staying for our anniversary. Imagine our surprise when we arrived to discover that the Whitford team had upgraded our room and put a wonderful dessert dish with the message 'happy anniversary' written in chocolate. The team went out of their way for everything, the Wexford people are so lovely, which carries through to all the staff we encountered. I remember coming here when I was a small child and so lovely to see that the hotel has grown to the wonderful establishment that is here today, without losing any of the charm. The hotel is in a prime spot for going into town, or further afield for sightseeing. After staying in several different hotels when we visit Wexford to 'try them out' - We will definitely be back to this one!"

"We really enjoyed every aspect of our stsy except for the beds. The beds were not good at all. The bed in the room we stayed in was broken. The 2 pieces of the base were not connected as the mechanism that is supposed to connect them was broken. We had free use of the gym which we used every evening for the duration of our stay. I'd rate the newtown park 7 outif 10. The only thing that lets them down was the beds. "
