This is the perfect location if you want to explore Sanur on foot. There are three pools, including a comfortable one facing the beach, and the hotel offers a wide range of options. The Italian restaurant "Village" along Jalan Danau Tambulingan serves the best food in Sanur! Personally, I'm a little disappointed that there aren't many twin-bedded rooms, and most of the twin rooms are connectingrooms. Prices have risen dramatically, but considering the location, I'd definitely return.

A good choice for a Sanur weekend away

Great location. Great staff. Comfortable bed. Simple breakfast options. Hotel facilities are a bit old compared to other equivalent resorts on the Sanur strip.

Sanur heaven

We were very impressed with the resort. The layout is perfect. Having a pool in front of our rooms was heaven. Not far to walk to the pool bar. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

Very nice resort

The room was very comfortable. Good air conditioning and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was modern and clean. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. There are 3 pools, the one by the beach and restaurant is the largest with a swim up bar. Deluxe rooms are nicer and worth the extra charge

Good value for money, beautiful gardens and loved the three pools. Lovely quiet area right on the beach front. Our room was clean but dated, especially bathroom. Stairs were a bit difficult in the villas when your70yrs. Luckily Im fit and healthy. Lovely outlook while having buffet breakfast.

We arrived at Gryia Santian and were immediately upgraded to a pool side room. This facility is quite modern and all facilities were in excellent condition. The grounds were spectacular. The pools were great and the location is amazing. You can walk to many eating options and the roadway had been quiet. There is a boardwalk in the back of the property that leads you to the Icon mall and various restaurants. The beach access is right across from the boardwalk. All chairs / cushions/umbrellas were is great condition and lots of availability. There were so many things right about this place that I would highly recommend staying at the facility.

Recommended by a colleague. 3pools and one of them is located beachfront. Great view. Beautiful gardens and such friendly staff. Location is excellent too. Stayed there 4nights while we were in Sanur. Went to a different hotel after been in Nusa Lembongan. Omg. We regretted we didn’t go back to Griya. We will definitely go back there again.

I wanted to sleep with the air conditioner on low or off but when I did that everything in the room became wet with condensation: my clothes, electronics, the floor, the bed sheets became damp. I almost fell out on the wet floor. I turned the air conditioning back on but it didn’t really dry out before I left. The food wasn’t great, but I only tried a few things. The wait staff was not happy to be there. I did have a nice massage and a walk down the boardwalk. The views are really nice. I watched a gorgeous sunrise.,

My second visit to this hotel

I stayed here in 2019 and now again in 2024. This is probably my favorite hotel in Sanur: good breakfast, many pools (at least 3 pool areas), room was excellent with pool view. I have stayed both in the deluxe room and the garden wing room, both times I had the 2nd floor and a balcony. Just perfect to enjoy a cold drink and look at the trees and the pool. One thing, this is not the cheapest hotel at Sanur, but I like this one very much. If you are a Bali-noob: Sanur is a calm, long, chill beach, not so many people - and I like it like that. But, if you want to party, then, for example, Kuta beach, is more your thing.

Gardens are looked after more than the buildings and pools. Garden wing pools were cloudy and mouldy. Trellis in centre pool is rotted and very unstable. Breakfast ordinary and needs more choices. Overall the property is tired and not worth the $$$.
