What a lovely comfortable stay. Nice beds , pillows and duvet and in a beautiful house. Tea and coffee and a bottle of water on arrival. Could have had breakfast but didn't. There's a pub down the road. Will definitely stay again and go for walks around the area

Came to stay for one last decent sleep before download festival and it didnt disappoint. Beautiful scenery overlooking the canal, the owners were very friendly, breakfast delicious and the room was so cute! Will be returning again next year

Perfect small room

Lovely little room, which was perfect for my one night stay. I arrived late.21:30 and was greeted at the door before even ringing the bell. Very efficient check-in all the information I needed it was handed to me, and then always left quietly to get on my night. Beautiful location next to the river, which I didn’t appreciate until the following morning as it was pitch black when I arrived. I didn’t have breakfast as I was unsure of my morning schedule Would stay here again

Almost perfect!

Pretty solid B&B. Friendly and welcoming host. Clean and comfortable. Lovely location, just a shame it was in the middle of a storm so couldn’t appreciate the area. Was upgraded to a slightly bigger room. Only real downsides for me is there was no desk or chair to work at and was asked to check out half an hour earlier than the booking stated. I would return, but would also appreciate a veggie/vegan breakfast being offered.

If for nothing else, 5* because they understand that the milk sachets don't give you enough milk to make a decent cuppa. Most hotels etc will give you 2-4, (yes you can ask for more) but this place gives you a well stocked tea/coffee area! Else where, lovely property right on the river bank with great views. Very friendly, accommodating and well informed owners. The room was lovely and well presented. Very cosy bed and linen which gave us both a lovely nights sleep. 5-10 minute drive to Donnington Park so ideal for Download or race days. We will definitely be looking to stay again in the future!

Great place to stay

Clean, friendly has those little extras, great service and lovely breakfast. In a great location for access to Donington Park not far from some good pubs with restaurants.

Stayed here a few times in the past as its location is fab for exploring the area, Donnington Park circuit or as a stopover. The new owners have made a great deal of improvements and the rooms are lovely , comfortable clean and the bathrooms fantastic, highly recommended. Great breakfast and welcoming hosts .
