The room was very clean. Though the bed mattress needs to be replaced. The bathroom tiles are coming loose. Breakfast is basic. The location is great if you want to be near the fairgrounds. There are lots of places to eat nearby.

My room was very clean and I felt safe during my stay. The hotel is however, definitely in need of some updates. Caulking around the tub was peeling and looked pretty gross. The exterior of the property definitely could have been better cared for and definitely made me question the overall safety of my stay.

The building is old with much deferred maintenance. The hard-working staff were friendly and very helpful. It is obvious they do their best to keep the rooms and building clean. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms large. Not a bad place to stay for the night while passing through.

I decent & clean hotel to reserve a overnight stay…Average breakfast & adequate room amenities…A few issues encountered were the lapse of a satellite signal for the tv which was annoying..In addition, no fitness room available & the hot tub was non-functional? Otherwise, the room was comfortable during my stay…

Their breakfast is soooo good! I was really impressed. I thought there might be fruit and bagels, but they had sausage gravy and biscuits, a waffle maker, boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, juices, milk, coffee! It was fantastic! Plus the price was great. Total BARGAIN and easy to get everywhere in DesMoines.

Was not aware the facility was under construction. Entire room smelled terribly of paint. Every noise can be heard, parking was fine, staff was polite, was able to check in early. Pool closed at 8:30, which to me is really early compared to most hotels so we didn’t get to use that.

We liked the area as its nearby my Uncles house. We have stayed here a few times in the past. It does the job and the places we like to visit are nearby as well. Saves on gas especially if you have a rental car.

Parking was convenient, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. They even went the extra mile to ensure I was placed on the first floor, as I needed to use my walker. The room itself was clean; however, the door’s safety lock was broken, and the shower diverter would not engage properly. As a result, the water pressure during the shower was poor, with water continuing to flow from the spout.
