"We had a wonderful long weekend at Ron's house. The description of the property is solid and Ron met us to take us over some of the finer points, setting up the Jacuzzi etc.The house itself is in a wonderful setting, great views over the area, very quiet and well maintained. The pool was a welcome relief after the 110 heat of the Tucson day. Jacuzzi for a relaxing time after dinner.Wildlife visited daily, with Road Runners and Mule deer stopping by. Lots of Gila Woodpeckers and hummingbirds.The location is great for easy access to many of the local sites, with the Desert Museum being 10 mins away. Coloassal Caves 30 and Mount Lemon about 45 to an hour.Our family of 4 had just a great time. If you want a quiet, peacful, relaxing stay but with easy access to sites you won't find a better spot in Tucson."

"Having stayed in many VRBO properties over the years, we were hesitant to book this property for lack of reviews. Having an establish company like Tucson Vacations representing this rental convinced us to go ahead. Boy, are we glad we did! Hilltop Retreat has everything, from being exceptionally clean and updated, to being located in a very private quiet natural environment complete with numerous Saguaro Cactus! This home has amazing day and night views of Tucson from the Pool and covered Deck area, surrounded by the beautiful Mountain landscape. Top it all off with prompt, excellent communication with our Host Gina, we would absolutely recommend this home and would not hesitate to book it again!"
"The house was immaculate with well appointed amenities. Not all those amenities were working but the important ones were. We had 7 people staying at the house. There was enough space to get alone time but also spend plenty of time together. This is the perfect location and incredibly close to downtown, the desert museum and the zoo. I highly recommend! "
"We had a great time! We stayed for 2 weeks while our home was undergoing renovations. The house was clean and comfortable. The area was nice and quiet. It was the hottest part of the summer, but his home stayed nice and cool and we enjoyed the pool! The stargazing from the balcony was amazing as well as watching all the wildlife every morning and evening. There are hiking trails available right down the street as well as a park/lake with ducks within a couple minutes of the house. The host was easily reachable, but we didn't have any issues at all. Thank you!"
