CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: AMENITY CLOSINGS EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 27, 2025

SunDestin Beach Resort is currently undergoing exterior construction around the property. The indoor pool, outdoor pool, and on-site restaurant are projected to be closed until the beginning of January 2026.

Please be aware that construction activity may result in noise between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM daily. Our goal is to keep you informed ahead of time so you can make the most of your stay with us.

Parking in the main lot may be limited. Please note that the drive-through area at the main lobby entrance, typically used for loading and unloading luggage, may be temporarily closed. Each one-and two-bedroom condo is allowed one vehicle only. Any additional cars will need to park in the overflow lot across the street.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding as the resort works to improve and enhance the overall guest experience.

Let’s begin with the newly renovated outdoor pool, indoor pool (heated seasonally), and gift shop, where you’ll find keepsakes for family and friends. The outdoor hot tub, sauna, and steam room will surely appeal to the adults in your party. The fitness facility conveniently located on-site, is something everyone can enjoy as are complimentary DVD’s. Seasonal amenities, including beach chair/umbrella rentals (fee)and outdoor tiki bar. With more than 3,000 s.f. of meeting space, SunDestin Beach Resort is the perfect place to host your personal and professional large-scale functions. Our warm and friendly Scenic Stays team will be available throughout your stay via our 24-hour on-site front desk should any questions arise.

SunDestin Unit 0811 is a lovely one bedroom, one- and one-half bathroom condo accommodating up to six. Cozy up in the living room on the comfy sofa, sink back in cushy chairs, and catch a game on the flat-screen TV. Gather round the dining room table for a board game or take in a sunset on the balcony, directly overlooking the gulf. The kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of counter space for snack and meal preparation, and there’s plenty of room for everyone to get a restful night’s sleep. Settle in on the queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living room, on twin bunks nestled in the hall, or in the master suite with a king-sized bed, flat screen television, and en suite bathroom for added convenience.

Start your day at HarborWalk Marina in the Destin harbor, just five minutes away! Rent a kayak, grab a meal, or spend the day shopping overlooking the crystal, clear waters of the emerald coast!

Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.

Please note that La Dolce Vita is the beach service vendor for this property. While beach service rentals are not included in your stay, you can easily contact them directly for all your rental needs.

Great place to stay in Destin

Great place to stay in Destin. The condo was very clean and modern as well as right on the beach with a beautiful view. I the TVs and appliances were very nice, but the best part was the bed! This has to be one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in.

Very nice Condo

Great place. Construction was ongoing during the stay, but didn't start until 8 am each day. Beach was nice and umbrella and chair setup was a plus. We enjoyed it. It will be even better when construction complete.

Sundestin Condo

We booked 6/8-6/15 We checked out 3 days early due to condo property renovations. From 9-5pm it sounded like a Jack Hammer being used. They refunded 4 days. Staff was great, beach great, restaurant great, facilities were very nice, but if you plan on being in room during the day as we did, the noise is terrible. We worked out a partial refund and left. Will try again after remodel of property is done.

3rd year in a row in this unit

This was our 3rd year in a row in this unit. It is clean and convenient. We love the location. It’s far enough away from the pool and loud chaos down below to not disturb you at night when winding down. My only complaint is that the bedroom has a distinct smell almost like a public bathroom. We actually went to buy air fresheners to help. Also the bathroom door between the bedroom and 1/2 bath is extremely loud and will wake everyone up when closed in the night. We will still come back again as this unit feels like home to us!

Amazing trip

We loved staying at the SunDestin hotel. The location was amazing and we loved the pools and splash pad for the kids. The rooms were beautiful and clean; however they could use a few updates such as a Keurig coffee maker and an air fryer or toaster oven would be awesome. We also had a few issues with customer services as they checked us out a day early and locked us out of the room. They could definitely be a little more helpful and friendly. All and all we had an amazing trip and we will visit again soon.

Great get away

Great Location

Tub didn’t drain well and knob was almost falling off, stains on furniture, mildew smell, and some cracking in ceiling in a few spots. Other than these few issues which didn’t deter from our stay too much, the place was fantastic.

Great view!

Great condo with bay view! Great space, only thing I would suggest is addressing areas in ceiling where you can see there used to be water damage. Floors were sticky from a need to be cleaned. Overall we loved it! I cleaned bathroom and floors so I could relax and we had an awesome time!

Great view/Location But Needs Updating

Sundestin resort was a great location with easy check in/out process. Easy beach access and a (small) indoor pool my little ones loved. Even a fudpuckers “ish” restaurant open most days right next to the pool for drinks and food. The condo itself was disappointing for the price paid, but looking at the insane prices during prime season I’m glad I only paid winter prices. It’s clean, which was nice but for the price you pay know that you are stepping into the 80’s as far as the green bathtub and sinks. Awkward bathrooms with two toilets and one shower tub. You could high five your family member while you both use the toilet at the same time. There are a lot of more updated units in this condo and the price does Not reflect what you’re getting in this unit. Still a great trip and beds were comfy. Just needs to be updated so that guests feel they are getting their money’s worth.

Perfect stay

We had so much fun during our Sundestin stay! The beach has powder white sand, turquoise water! The condo has a outdoor pool, indoor pool, splash pad & hot tub! It was great!

No frills. Clean condo but needs updating and some maintenance. Little disappointed based on description but made the best of it with the family especially when stuck in the condo bc of daily rain. Great beach location for families!

The location is excellent. The front staff were very good. The apartment bed and pillows are not in good condition. The sheets and linens were bad. Could not sleep and rest as it have bad back ache and sprained next. Same is the situation with bunker bed. All these needs to be replaced with good quality bedding. Bedding had dust mites The towel rod were broken. Bad TV and system needs to be updated.
