Getaway

We enjoyed our overall stay—the location was great and check-in was smooth. The space had potential, and the layout worked well for our group. However, there were a couple of cleanliness and maintenance issues that took away from the experience.The couch was noticeably dirty and stained, which made it uncomfortable to relax in the living room. Additionally, the bathtub drain was badly clogged, causing water to pool while showering.With a little more attention to cleanliness and upkeep, this could be a much better rental. Hopefully these small fixes are addressed for future guests.

It was very quiet and peaceful and clean everyone was nice. Beach was beautiful! The house was very clean and beautiful. The area very nice too.

Great Getaway

The property was nice. Right across from the pool which was busy but never heard a sound. Easy walk to the beach. Great location… central to all you want to do.

GREAT LOCATION TO BEACH AND POOL

EVERYTHING WAS CLEAN AND CONVENIENT. BOTTOM FLOOR, LITTERALLY STEPS TO POOL AND BEACH. THE ONLY SUGGESTIONS I HAVE WOULD, HOWEVER VERY SMALL, BE TO REPLACE THE PATIO CUSHIONS, AND MORE TOWELS HOOKS TO HANG TOWELS IN THE BATHROOM.

Wonderful little condo

This condo was perfect. We stayed at 14A which is on the ground level which made it so nice for taking our two fur babies outside. The condo was perfect for just my husband and I. We loved the condo being so close to the beach and all of the green space outside for our pets. We will definitely be back. Only issue was neighbors upstairs were noisy at times scooting the furniture around and some of the floor tiles outside of the bedroom door were loose needing replaced. We will be booking a stay at Chateau La Mer again!

Great location, needs an update

Absolutely great location, literally within a few steps of the beach & right next to the pool. The condo size was perfect size for our family of 3 & fur baby. We so appreciate your willingness to allow our pup to tag along with us on our vacation. The condo does need some overall updating to give a better “curb appeal”. For example, the outdoor furniture & shower curtain rail were significantly rusted which gives them a dirty appearance, as well as there were chips in the flooring which I kept trying to sweep up thinking it was dirt. Plastic outdoor furniture would probably hold up better at the beach. And the couches had a smell to them which wasn’t appealing - not a dog smell, but like they needed to be deep cleaned after repeated use by humans. The kitchen was stocked with all we needed & the list provided to us on what we should bring was right on. Overall a great choice to rent for a beach trip, just needs some attention for extra comfort measures.

We really enjoyed the spot. The beds were small- definitely not suitable for two couples just 2 adults. The beach is truly walking distance. Same with a few restaurant options. The property is well maintained, nice pool and good tennis courts. A few things in the long email of instructions were outdated but other than that pretty seamless. The check in and out was easy but had a bunch of rules which weren’t a problem just overwhelming to read through. The kitchen was fully functional and it was a great spot for us to stay with plenty of parking. I would definitely stay again.

Winter get away

Chateau LeMar is a wonderful peaceful place to stay. The properties are well maintained, the our guests and owners are very pleasant. I have been staying here for the past 5 years, I come down yearly (3 times in 2024) and always look forward to staying there.

Perfect for us!

We really enjoyed our stay! The pool is right outside, the beach is just a short walk away with option to purchase a chair setup. The location was perfect for us to make it to everywhere we needed to go. The host was responsive and offered lots of amenities along with the room. Scenic 98 is a great place to walk and our dog loved every second of it! Thanks for a great stay at the Chateau La Mer!

Convenience

The check in process and check out process was easy. The unit was clean upon arriving. The furniture is nice. The beds & pillows were comfortable. We always bring our own blankets. The unit came with a good supply of towels if needed. The bathroom was average size with a good size sink. It has a cabinet above the toilet to provide storage for all bathroom items. The kitchen utensils were alright. Need bigger bowls- we made noodle soup and the biggest bowl they had did not hold much. We didn’t use the coffee maker so I can’t comment on that. The only annoying thing is when you’re opening the oven it would hit the dishwasher if it’s not closed tight, they are too close. The walk to the beach was about 5 minutes or less which is a PLUS. The beach being private access we enjoyed how it wasn’t overly crowded. You can bring your own tent or you have option to rent a beach chair/umbrella set if you’d like. The condominium have their own outside shower/spray area from when you come back from the beach. The pool is right in front of the unit which was lovely. The pool area also has its own restrooms. I wish the unit had its own washer/dryer but they do have community access to washer/dryer. The complimentary multi spice jar was a cute gift. Overall we did enjoy our stay and we would definitely rent this place again.
