"I recently stayed at this hotel while traveling cross-country, and the experience was mixed at best. At check-in, the room condition was fair but clearly lacking upkeep, with dirty walls, cracked bathroom tiles, and dusty light fixtures. There was also a noticeable musty smell upon entering. Shortly after settling in, we found the water was cold, but staff responded quickly and adjusted the water heater. When we returned from dinner, the water was warm, which was appreciated. Unfortunately, the jacuzzi tub—located next to the bed where our belongings were placed on the floor—had been leaking underneath. The carpet was soaked, and many of our belongings were wet. This made it seem the earlier musty smell may have been from ongoing moisture issues. Staff again responded quickly, moving us to another room and offering a dryer, but it was late and we had an 11-hour drive ahead, so drying clothes wasn’t realistic. The second room was slightly better but still had cosmetic issues and visible mold around the shower/tub. While staff was responsive, the overall condition and leak made this a stressful and disappointing stay."

"Great breakfast. Made to order and great selection. Room was clean and spacious. All of the hotel staff were kind and accommodating. Unfortunately the pool and hot tub were closed and waiting for repair with an unknown repair date. The restaurant on site is closed on Sundays and Mondays ( there are a couple other places in town, but not much is open on Sunday). "

"Like others have said the place is old, but fine for a night or two. Clean, large room and not too crowded in the pl. Friendly staff. No significant breakfast items and the "popular" restaurant next door which we planned to dine, was closed on the day we were there. However, the next day, we arrived for breakfast at 10:15 and was told breakfast was no longer served. So basically 8-10 only. Not too happy with our lunch meal. Should've gone to McDs. Not the hotels fault though. We stayed here over 30 years ago and it was basically the same then. I wish the area would grow economically. They have a great opportunity with the Cave nearby. YMMV.."

"I stayed at this property for one night during a recent road trip. The room and bathroom were both clean and well-kept, and the parking was easy. The breakfast was decent as well. It was a pleasant experience for a quick stopover. Recommended."
