"Conveniently located near the airport, this property is good for arriving or leaving visitors. They did have a fitness area which we did not use, but they also had a pool table, and plenty of space to sit and enjoy the company of fellow travellers. The breakfast was plentiful and varied in its offerings. We took a shuttle at 3:45 a.m. and this service is provided around the clock."

"Great location, very helpful staff, good breakfast selection. Downsides no decaf refreshments so have to pay extra for those. Only one bottle of water in room for two people, was refillable downstairs but two bottles would be better as it wasn’t very big and with no tea or coffee making facilities or a fridge and beds really hard. Would I stay again? For the price we paid which was not cheap, no I wouldn’t I’d try somewhere else. ."

"I cannot thank the team at JW Marriott Bucharest enough for their constant support, exceptional resources, and unprecedented level of communication and dedication to my needs. Prior to my stay, I contacted JW Marriott to explain that my intention during the visit was to conduct a marriage proposal. My request was accepted with great warmth and sincerity. Although there was not a huge window of time to organise such an event, the task was met with great enthusiasm and tenacity. The team was able to source one of the world’s current Top 50 photographers, along with botanical features that had to be imported into Bucharest. The Steakhouse restaurant was reserved exclusively at my personal request, and the service provided by Dorin was second to none — the best I have yet encountered. The mood was perfectly set, the team had their fingers crossed, and of course, she said YES! The staff even managed to prepare the room with a rose petal display and chilled sparkling wine while we dined, all without being detected by my fiancé. Overall, the experience marked one of the most memorable and significant moments of my life, and I now regard JW Marriott Bucharest as family. An extra special thank you to Petronela Dolea and Alexandra Milu for helping make this unforgettable moment possible."

"We had the green building which was old but the bed was comfortable and we had a kitchenette. Room was quite large and had all expected furniture. Our friends stayed in the red building and had a fun modern room without a kitchenette but was much smaller."

"We saw the great reviews on-line and decided to book this hotel on the extra night post our group tour. We agree with the great reviews from other guests. The hotel is located off the busy street and is centrally located. It’s a boutique hotel and very reasonably priced."

"The Novotel city centre Bucharest has a superb location. Right on Victoria Street/Boulevards, old city is only minutes away, easy location for guided and walking tours. The Main Street is full with coffee shop, dessert shops and restaurants all with different style and vibe for every taste, and on weekends transportation is not allowed so street and road are open for pedestrians. The reception staff were always helpful and welcoming especially Alexander. We got help with recommendations and directions. We only used the hotel lounge once as we wanted to try the local area. Ruth from the lounge is a real ray of sunshine with her hosting skills and bright smile. The room was spacious and clean, with air conditioning and beautiful city view. We had a minor issue with a smell from the bathroom sink, and the hotel tried to resolve, but couldn’t after several attempts. I hope they managed to sort it before the next guest. (Room 711). Each floor has a water cooler if you wish to fill up your bottles ahead of your day. All in all a great stay, and would highly recommend this hotel."
