"Lisa and Jason were the best hosts! They were so accommodating to everything, even letting us use their EV car charger! They showed us around the property, introducing us to all their animals and letting us feed them. Jason is very knowledgeable and had lots of stories to share on the history of the ranch. The steaks they sell from their farm were incredible! 10/10 recommendation. Will definitely come back!"

The Hideout Golf Club & Resort

8/10 Good

"Everyone was very friendly. The property was nice and the rooms were nice. The only down fall was the shower in the morning did not have hot water."

Secluded cabin 20 minutes from Colorado Bend State Park. Private pool included.

10/10 Excellent

"The property was beautiful and the owners are wonderful. The goats were so fun to be around and there was a lot to do close by if we wanted to get out. Definitely can't wait to go back!"

Secluded Country Escape + Hot Tub

10/10 Excellent

"We loved our stay and hope to stay here each time we come to visit our family. The property is secluded away from any other living area. At night we turned off the outside lights and gazed at the stars. The property is well maintained and has a secure fence around the entire house with an electronic gate for entry. There were flowers around the house, and through the windows we were able to watch hummingbirds and butterflies as they fed on the blooms.Everything has been well thought out to make the stay comfortable. Each light switch is labeled for convenience. There are cabinets with pans and bakeware and drawers with all sorts of kitchen utensils. There is a reverse-osmosis faucet for filtered water. Besides dishes and glassware, there is foil, plastic wrap, and sandwich bags in the pantry. It has plenty of towels, hangers in the closets, and a vacuum to use if needed. We stayed comfortable with setting the central air to 70 degrees. We were amazed by the thought that the owners put into providing everything needed so we didn’t have to bring stuff with us to get by during our week-long stay.Janae was extremely helpful during the entire process and promptly answered any questions we had. She provided us with detailed information about the property prior to our arrival and had the lights on when we arrived late at night for our first night. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and such a great host that together helped make our stay so pleasant and carefree."

Exquisite Hill Country Cottage-Giraffe and wildlife experiences

10/10 Excellent

"We had an incredible time at the ranch. The pool and hot tub were perfect, and biking through the property while spotting wildebeests and zebras was surreal. Ty, Leslie, and Adriaan were phenomenal hosts. We really enjoyed the safari where we fed both Tank the rhino and the giraffes."

Twin Hills River Ranch Elegant Goldthwaite Escape, sleeps 20+

10/10 Excellent

"We absolutely loved our stay! We were in town for our son’s state baseball tournament and had four different families staying together. The house was incredibly spacious, giving everyone plenty of room to spread out, and it was spotless when we arrived. The kids had an absolute blast playing pickleball and exploring the river, where they even found arrowheads and other artifacts it made the trip even more memorable! Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish, making everything easy and stress-free.We would absolutely give this property a 10/10 and would love to stay here again if we’re ever back in the area. Highly recommend"
