Great food and the staff could not be more friendly or helpful. A little quiet while we were there but probably due to low season approaching and getting themselves set up."

"It's atmosphere is very good with full of flowers. However, what is good ends there. The room was cold at night, electricty recepticles were sluggish and the basin cap plug did not work. The hot water capacity was too small and I had to give up filling a bath tub with hot water. Preparing breakfast was very slow."

"We visited low season but for us it was perfect. We stayed 5 nights, mid. June. The staff were wonderfully friendly and polite. Whilst part of the hotel was closed, junior suite, for renovation it did not affect us in any way. The weather was just right to, Not too hot or wet. Rain came late afternoon in the form of a sprinkle twice and overnight once but nothing much. We were lucky I'm sure but I think it's the right time of year to go, any other must get unbelievable hot. Mandalay was 40 ish...

"We stayed for 3 nights after a trek from Kalaw. The bedrooms are large with the most comfortable beds in Myanmar... and sumptuous white bedding ! Lots of hot water and good a/c. Hotel is on the edge of town so quiet and great for catching up on sleep! Only 10mins walk (5mins cycle) or less to everywhere in town. Hotel provides free bikes to get around. We organised a couple of trips on Inle lake via hotel which was excellent value with good boat drivers who collect you from the hotel - beats...

"C est la 1ere fois au Myanmar ou l on a pas été bien accueilli, aucun sourire, salutations ou même réponse aux notres, à part par la jeune fille de l accueil.pas d eau potable, de draps, de séche cheveux ou même un mouchoir à dispo, pas ou très peu d internet et le salé du pdj n est pas terrible ( qd ils ne vous oublie pas de le servir..)"

Breakfast only just OK, could have been better for budget. Stairs, no lift, par for course for Myanmar. Had to ask for basics like tea bags (also par for course for Myanmar where it is assumed you want coffee)."
