"Didn’t cook"

"It appears the hotel is or was doing renovations or updates. But from what we saw that was updated was done poorly. The thing that was unacceptable to us was the breakfast and the breakfast area. The area was dirty. Food crumbs on the counter where the food was and all over the tables. Syrup on the counter and floor. No food being replenished either. For the price and what we needed it for (1 night) it was fine but not a hotel we would stay multiple nights at."

"Don’t set a reservation here if you live within 30miles of the business. I made a reservation through Expedia with a confirmation and they still turned me away but charged my credit card. I didn’t cancel they refused to give me a room!! "

"Everything about the stay was good. Only issue was, there is an age requirement that I was unaware of. Apparently if I had put my name on the room, my 19 yr old daughter on spring break trip would’ve been fine to check in. But because I put the name as the person actually staying, the rules would not have let her stay. Fortunately it got worked out this all the 5 stars. But 4 stars overall because I feel this should be obvious during the reservation process. "

"Couch needs to be replaced or deeply cleaned instead of just putting cover over cushions, layer of dust on top of fridge, inside fridge dirty, dishwasher dirty and old, dishes sticky and dirty in cabinet, not given pots/pans/sponge/dishwasher soap, toilet seat broken (had to be careful not to slip off when sitting down, carpets filthy, pull out sofa awful and extra sheets and pillow had definitely not been washed, toilet hadn’t been cleaned and was clogged whole time, layers of dirt in corners in variety of places, trash cans dirty, mattress stained and uncomfortable, sticky remote, had to ask for wifi. I get that this wasn’t a ritzy place but CLEANLINESS should never been an issue in a hotel. This place takes no pride in cleanliness, cuts corners, does lower than pure basics. Someone knocked on my door at 9:30am to see if we were still there, check out isn’t until noon. Breakfast was decent. Don’t stay in this dump. They won’t have my hard earned money again. "
