I stayed at this hotel since it was close to my friend’s wedding venue. The place felt very old and not as fresh as the photos on the website made it look. Ice was only available on the first floor and not on floors 2 & 4 as stated. The snack area to buy drinks or snacks was not stocked. Luckily there was a meijer right next door so I could go there to satisfy my needs.
The furniture in the room was dingy and should have been replaced. The bedding had holes in the sheets. The toilet sounded like it was constantly dripping water in the tank so that was annoying as it didn’t stop. The key cards took multiple attempts to open the door to the room, so that was definitely not updated either compared to Hampton Inn and Suites.
The positives of the hotel was the jetted tub and AC in the room. A decent size mini fridge in the room to hold drinks I purchased at Meijer. The staff was friendly and helpful when I locked myself out of my room.
All in all, while the stay was fine (since I was hardly in the room) the King size bedroom Suite was definitely not worthy of a king or a queen.
