The best thing about this stay was the front desk person Ameer! He was amazing! The property was disgusting and the room was not clean. We had stains everywhere on the lounge chair, the comforter wasn't clean, the bathroom had mold and there was a dirty towel that Ameer came to get out of my room because the housekeeping was so in a rush to leave for the holiday they half cleaned the rooms. It was bad!!! The pool was nasty and had no towels, we had to walk to the front to grab some. This was a waste of $136.

The Holiday Inn Express in Novi was a very decent place. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast hours were very short but the option were good. I liked that coffee was available 24/7. The workout room was nice but too warm and didn't have much for strength training. The staff was friendly. I liked the option to not have house keeping clean your room. I didn't need it and prefer the privacy. Added note: this is a review of the Holiday Inn - not Expedia whom I booked through. They were a nightmare! Holiday Inn = good. Expedia = bad

Bugs in the room!!! By the bed!! Refuse to clean it or give us another room or a refund. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau and to Hyatt Corporate as well as Expedia who also refused to refund us despite having to leave the hotel and get another one . Worst experience to date and I travel in weekly basics

Our family of 7 stayed and we felt very comfortable in a large room that had 2 queen beds, a sofa bed and an additional rollaway bed we requested. The kids enjoyed the pool and the breakfast buffet was very good. Freshly made pancakes, omelettes, breakfast potatos, sausages, cereals, toasts, pastries, yogurts, drinks of all kinds. What stood out more than anything was how friendly all the staff were. Thank you for such a great stay!
