Property is pretty and rooms are appointed beautifully. The shower looked a bit unloved, grout was dirty like it hadn’t been cleaned properly in some time. Front desk staff was professional though lacking customer service. From my experience staying at other hotels at the same price point, the level of customer service was underwhelming. I visited the restaurant on site, Park 600, and received the opposite in customer service. The bartender (Erika?) was wonderful! She was welcoming, engaging, took care of everyone. Mixed delicious drinks. The food I ordered was sub par. While I think the hotel is beautiful, I will stay somewhere else next time I’m in town.

This was my first stay at the Royal Park Hotel, and they by far exceeded my expectations. I truly felt the royal treatment from start to finish. The room was immaculate, the front desk staff were welcoming and professional, and the valet service was excellent. The overall ambiance of the hotel was exceptional. My name is Clay — you might remember me as the guest with one of the sharpest beards in Michigan. I’ll definitely be back.
