Beautiful hotel! The beds are comfy, good shower pressure and nice toiletries. The roof top bar has some tasty drinks and amazing views. The only reason I am giving it a 4 star instead of 5 is the walls are real thin. Neighbors came back to there room arguing at 4:30 am and heard that. Also heard them making up at some point later in the morning lol. If you are going to a concert or a game, Nemo’s bar across the street has shuttle service. The italian place also across the street was delicious! We had a perfect night

I loved this place. The staff is professional, welcoming, and helpful. The room was impeccable and fabulous, It had a view of the city, and for a bit I enjoyed my evening before bedtime to sit and take it in. Although my room was by the elevator and the window was facing the entrance side and could hear some comings and goings, I put in my earplugs and was out for the night. The coffee maker and hairdryer worked perfectly, the bathrobe was heavenly after a hot shower, and check-out was a breeze.

This is my second stay at the Godfrey. The room service is always great...but one of the agents named Mia, at the front desk was very unprofessional when I called to inquire about an additional charge on my card after checking in. She left me on hold several times and even hung up on me. When I addressed it she responded with "First of all" and refused to listen to what I was trying to explain. The charge was eventually removed but it tainted my experience. A hotel rep then entered my room without knocking and explained that we weren't supposed to be in the room. I called again and Mia answered. After I explained what happened she responded with "What had happened was"...which I thought was also unprofessional. She explained that they had checked us into the wrong room...other than that experience the rest of the stay was a bit more enjoyable.
