Great experience. We booked 2 other hotels, one ended up being in a different city ( even though we searched Detroit Lakes ? It was 26 miles away!). The. The second, was disgusting, and apparently also a halfway house, and over booked our room! American inn came through. Great service, clean, safe, and great service.

What I didn’t like was my husband is handicapped and has trouble walking, and they wanted to put us in a room upstairs with no elevator. Luckily she was able to get us a downstairs room. The pool was really nice.
