"We had a great time, except for the rain. Our first thing was to ask about wifi, we assumed it was there. Although we brought stuff for outside, it was hard to make use of it bc of the rain. Most of our time was spent inside, so the littles needed something to do. We were told there was no wifi and only a dvd player but no dvds. That was also not on vrbo, so we did not know to bring dvds. There wasnt alot of space to store dry food in the kitchen but they did have a store room opposite the kitchen down the hallway. The doorknobs on all the doors were out of date and some didnt turn very well. One of the outside doors were in an awkward spot off the kitchen and we had to move the table if we wanted to use it. The kitchen table was very low to the ground. The patio table was nice but the cushion were old, dingy and they had been wet many times. When you use the gas stove it becomes very hot. We opened doors and windows to help. Do not hit the light switch on the unit downstairs, it turns the ac off. It could definitely use some updating, bc it has potential. Be sure to stop at walmart before you arrive bc its about 30-40mins away. Its in a great location, bc the water is right down from the house. The kids did have fun swimming when there was a break in the rain. There is a swing on the patio, it was peaceful to sit out there and swing on either level. The couple was very nice and responded very quickly to our questions."

"Though we had rain through most of our trip, it was made better by this amazing house! A few separate families joined us, and the layout was ideal for our purposes. We could shoo the dear children to the downstairs living airea where they could play and be noisy and access the outdoors just fine! There was one small step to access the main floor, kitchen, utility room, dining area, living room, and large deck - this was what we needed for the older members of our party. The parking was ideal as well - we were able to swing down the circular drive to drop off our things and then drive back up to park. As stated, the younger kids stayed downstairs and had their own microwave, sink, frig, and coffee pot - as well as a large bathroom, tub/shower combo, and two additional bedrooms! There was also a deck and plenty of seating inside and out at this level. The third floor had room to sleep another group, a full bathroom with shower, and a small balcony facing the street (where there was room enough to sit and enjoy coffee solo - a true gift! Ha!).In the few dry hours, we were able to relax by the water and watch the fog roll in. We got our steps in walking from floor to floor as there were plenty of staircases, but our older relatives made it fine with everything they needed on the main floor. What a perfect vacation spot!! "We loved our stay! There is a key pad to get in. The managers live only 5 minutes away so they can zip over quickly if there are any problems. The home is spacious with plenty of room for multiple families. The couches are fold out beds in addition to the 4 bedrooms and one extra space. The beds are very comfortable too. We enjoyed the deck with the ping pong and other games as well. The kitchen is well stocked with large and small plates, bowls, cups, silverware, pots and pans, spatulas and measuring cups. They also have a toaster, blender, and instapot. There is a gate in the big yard that leads to the lake which is through the parking lot. We found a ton to do in nearby Heber Springs. A hike up Sugar loaf mountain was one of our favorites as well as the dam visitors center and hike and bridal veil falls. Each hike was a little challenging so best not for really young children or those with health issues. We will always cherish our stay and would definitely stay here again! in "
