This place appeared like a nice place to stay…upon entering the lobby, only a phone to call. The hallway to our room smelled like a skunk had just walked thru and sprayed. I think we got a contact high…just getting to the room! No toilet paper or towels in the room. The mini fridge was plugged in but did not work. I guess if your looking for a hard bed this would be a great place to stay, haha!

The location is great. Breakfast was basic but fine. There was a local park nearby so I could exercise my service dog alone, keystone is a great town for staying when visiting all the local sites. Check out Halley’s!

Motel is in need of some work but my bed was comfortable, room had a fridge, and air conditioning worked. A few dining options nearby for convenience. Coffee in room or lobby was not available, which was disappointing.

Great for 1 night or Extended stay

I was here for 3 weeks. I was safe, comfortable, and located in the middle of every store and services someone would need. Big parking lot for big trucks or haulers. Mini fridge, microwave, ice, and washer/ dryers. I totally recommend this spot in Dickinson. No frills, but all the basics you need.

Hotel was convenient and comfortable. Could use some upgrades to new bedding and shower curtains and towels. A bit of investment into these items would bump up the rating to this hotel.

Had to stay over in Dickinson and had another friendly clean affordable experience at the Dickinson Inn. Fridge and microwave in the room. It’s no frills and a little older but a solid choice for the money

I arrived and called on the hotel's lobby phone that I was there. The lady came in and checked me in. She even suggested the Mexican restaurant next door, which I did go to. The restaurant is only steps away from the hotel. The hotel was quiet. Some of the carpet in the hall looks to be old, but the room had no carpet. My room had a nice big TV and a king size bed. I would have liked to cool the room more than it was, but it was alright.

The cold water in our room never got cold, just warm. Floor was a little dirty, tub and shower curtains needed cleaning. Had a desk, but no chair. Bed was clean and comfy. TV was good. Great price!

STAFF WAS KIND. THE ROOM SEEMED CLEAN ENOUGH. THE BED WAS COMFORTABLE AND AIR CONDITIONING WORKED. OVERALL GOOD ROOM FOR THE PRICE. WE DID HAVE TO INFORM THE STAFF THAT THE DRAIN IN THE TUB WAS PLUGGED. THE REMOTE FOR THE TV DID NOT WORK. THE OUTSIDE WINDOW WAS BROKEN (THE INSIDE WINDOW WAS NOT) THE FAN ON THE AIR CONDITIONER NEEDED CLEANED.

THE FAN ON THE AIR CONDITIONER WAS SO LOUD, UNABLE TO HEAR THE NEWS, WHEN IT KICKED OFF THE TV WAS BLAIRING LOUD. YOU COULD HEAR CLEARLY EVERYTHING IN THE HALL AS IF YOU WERE IN THE SAME ROOM. THANK GOODNESS EVERYONE WAS QUIET WHEN IT WAS TIME TO SLEEP. IT WAS CLEAN ENOUGH. THE BED WAS COMFORTABLE. THE AIR CONDITIONER KEPT THE ROOM COOL. THE SHOWER WORKED SO ALL AND ALL A GOOD ROOM FOR THE PRICE.

On the positive the bedding was clean and bed was firm.(with horrible lumpy thin pillows) The air conditioning worked great and the fan had a consistent quiet hum. Otherwise the hotel was very expensive for absolutely no amenities — not even a cup of coffee or an alarm clock. The front desk area and hallways smelled strongly of smoke... a little better in the room. The window did not close completely on our ground level room and looked like there hadn’t been a deep clean in years. Honestly, it was a highly disappointing and disgusting experience.

I’ve stayed at the Dickinson Inn multiple times and find it a great value and comfortable stay every time. And I don’t understand some of the brutal ratings. Don’t get me wrong - I like the Hilton as much as the next guy. But for a lower price room that’s clean and not sketchy - this place is great. Hot water. Good water pressure. Friendly front desk people. (They are limited in English fyi) And every tine I stay there some improvement is being made which they’ve been working on. If I had one wish it would be to raise the rates by $2 a night and spend the money on better towels and sheets. That’s my suggestion. Thanks!

Value for money

Okay, I was actually pretty impressed. No, it's not a 5-star place: the facility itself is old and outdated. But, everything I saw has been remodeled--not remodeled in the sense of redesigned and modernized, but materials and fixtures have been replaced and updated. In other words, the owners haven't just let an old hotel limp on, milking its former glory for every penny they can get. They've maintained it quite well. Our room had new floors, and new bathroom fittings. Everything was clean. Again...no Hilton. But this was one of the best value-for-money places I've ever stayed.

When you get there, you have to ring a bell, and the person comes to greet you. She was very kind and friendly however, the room had about 10 flies for some reason and a bunch of dead flies on the floor overall pretty filthy a bunch of hair on the floor Everywhere that had never been swept up from the last person was unable to take a shower because only water came from the tub faucet and not the showerhead above. Definitely asked to see the room before you accept it. It was OK for a one night stop but definitely felt a little gross and uncared for inside sheets were clean towels were clean.
