Seasonal rental house seaside with panoramic sea view with terrace of 40 m2 850 € the week in high season.

Ideal location for this cottage by the sea and 1500m from the beach of Collignon with its cluster of activities (nautical windsurfing, sand yachting, optimistic, ... and its indoor pool).
This cottage located on a plot of 4000m2 has been recently renovated and is close to shops at 800m (bakery, crossroad contact, pharmacy, tobacco, press)

Located on the GR223 customs footpath, it will conquer hikers and holidaymakers with its proximity to 2 beaches (Collignon and Bretteville).

Phantastischer Ausblick

Wir haben uns in die Normandie verliebt... das Ferienhaus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und gemütlich. Ein spektakulärer Blick aufs Wasser, viel Ruhe und dennoch alles was man so braucht in wenigen Minuten mit dem Fahrrad zu erreichen. Ausflüge nach Bayeux oder Rouen sehr empfehlenswert. Und viele schöne Ende August wenig bevölkerte Strände. Warmer Golfstrom lädt zum Schwimmen ein. Wundervoll!

Beautiful indoor/outdoor living

The property is located within a 10 minute drive from downtown Cherbourg....but you wouldn't know it. It is located on a large private property right on the edge of the sea. You can't see or hear a single other dwelling from the vacation property. It is as if you have the sea to yourself. The property is perfectly equipped, with everything you need for cooking. But what is really unparalleled is the dining area (large enough for 8 people at least). It is located at the sea-end of the property in a glass-enclosed room which can be opened directly to the sea. If the weather is good, you are having your aperitif and eating outside. If the weather isn't so good, you just close the sliding glass wall and you are still eating outside. Either way, an unobstructed view of the Channel. You can see the 18th/19th century fortresses of the Cherbourg seawall from the dining area, so it is very picturesque. The location is convenient to all the city's shops (5 minute drive) and attractions (10 minutes at most), but, above all, it is a great location from which to explore the northern half of the Cotentin peninsula which is (in my opinion) an exceptionally pretty area that combines rugged seaside cliffs, flat sand beaches, and inland hills and dales reminiscent of Cornwall. A beautiful property that helped us have a memorable vacation in the Cotentin.

a mobile home not a house

The location is beautiful. Sea view, lots of space around the house. Quiet area. Supermarket and bakery, beautiful surroundings. But there is a lot to criticize about the house. Actually it is not really a house but a large mobile home. Thin partitions serve as walls between the 3 bedrooms, bathroom and toilet. As a result, it is exceptionally noisy, which also applies to the adjacent living space that is rented out. The house is rented for 8 people. It is really impossible to stay here with 8 people, not even 6. There is a lot wrong with the house. The equipment is extremely cheap. Two fronts are missing from the kitchen cupboards, the only (!) hanging cupboard cannot be used because the door is coming off the rails. These were complaints that were already reported in August 2022 (according to a review), but nothing has been done about them. The table has an unstable leg. Furthermore, lighting on the outside is not finished, as is a shed next to the front door. The third bedroom is so small that it can just fit a bed, so no storage space. The room is so small that the door can only be opened half way. It is striking that few photos have been posted on the VRBO website and not at all of the outside of the house. If they had been present, we would have seen that this is only a spacious mobile home.

Schönes Haus mit ein paar Minuspunkten

Schöne Aussicht aufs Meer, sehr ruhig, großes Grundstück, interessante Gegend. Bettwäsche und genügend Handtücher sind vorhanden. Das Haus ist schön möbliert, allerdings sind es Billigmöbel und in der Küche fehlt an einem Schrank die Front. Die Schiebetür vom Schlafzimmerschrank ist aus den Schienen gesprungen, wacklige Kommode usw. Was uns sehr gestört hat, war der schlechte Geruch im Bad, der aus dem Duschabfluß kam. Mit ein bisschen Arbeitseinsatz, frischer Farbe an der Wand und stabilen Möbeln wäre das Haus ein Volltreffer. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und haben auch Abhilfe versprochen. Das dritte Schlafzimmer ist sehr klein. Die Wohnung ist für 8 Personen angeboten, aber das halten wir für nicht praktikabel. Valerie ist offen für Verbesserungsvorschläge, die wir auch gerne geben. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen und hoffen, dass die angesprochenen Punkte dann behoben sind.

Une chambre qui n’en n’est pas vraiment une,tant elle est petite,les meubles ont besoin d’une bonne révision…mais la terrasse est tellement agréable ,la vue magnifique,pour 4c’est super !

Outstanding view

The view is magnificent. Location is convenient to supermarkets, a great seafood store and local bakery. The apartment is very comfortable, kitchen well equipped. Very quiet and peaceful, great for a relaxing holiday. On Sunday, the sea is filled with sailboats, a beautiful sight. The hosts , Valerie and Mickael were wonderful hosts, making sure we were happy. I so appreciate that. I would highly recommend this property.

Traumhafte Lage direkt am Meer

Wir haben unseren Urlaub in dem Chalet von Mickael und Valerie sehr genossen. Die Lage am Meer ist traumhaft schön. Wir konnten an unserem letzten Tag sogar vom Esstisch aus Delfine beobachten. Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Valerie hat uns noch sehr viele Tipps zur Erkundung der Gegend gegeben.

Magnifique

Nous avons passé des vacances extra ordinaires à Digosville. La maison est très belle et Mikaël et Valérie sont très sympa, serviable et font tout pour garantir un très bon séjours pour leurs clients. L’environnement de la maison est superbe et il y a beaucoup de villes et villages à visiter. La vue est vraiment magnifique. La seule raison de pouvoir écrire quelque chose moins bien c’est qu’il y a toujours un fin des vacances... sûrement nous reviendrons.
